His hand caresses my cheek. “I do, babygirl.”
Reaching up, I pull at his tie. The office door is closed and I’ve always liked the idea of doing naughty things in an office in front of an enormous window.
He becomes stern. “Now, you can stop that. There are still people out in the office,” he says, gesturing over his shoulder with a nod of his head.
I know there are people out there but I don’t care. I pull the tie slowly out from beneath his collar, watching him watch me, an amused smile on his lips. I think I could probably fall for this man. I could tell him so now, but where would be the fun in that? Better to provoke him and tease him and drive him crazy until he’s the one who says I love you first.
His voice drops to that low, authoritative rumble. “Babygirl, I said stop that right now. You’re being a little brat.”
I bat my lashes at him. “But daddy, you like it when I’m a brat.”
His eyes drop to my mouth, which has curved into a smile, and just before he kisses me, he says, “Oh, princess. Yes I do.”
