She arched into me with a gentle gasp. I snapped another picture of her perfect face, her eyes now hazy with need.
“Let’s see how hard Kara’s nipples are.” I brushed the thin strap of her dress from her shoulder, and it fell away with ease. The artificial shutter clicking on her phone sounded again as I took a shot of her naked breast.
I traced a path over the smooth silk to the hem of her dress and hooked the fabric with my finger. “Open your legs.”
Kara bit her lip and uncrossed her ankles. I crouched down to have a closer look. “Just as I thought. No panties.” I glanced up at her. “Don’t tell me it’s to avoid panty lines.” I circled the tip of my finger over her bud and she visibly shivered. “Turn around.”
She’d just spun into place when I pushed her dress over her ass and hiked her leg up onto the sink.
“What?”
“Quiet, young lady,” I warned, smacking her ass. “We’re listening to your body right now, remember?”
She smelled like heaven, truly. I had to have a taste, but I waited. I wanted to see her ask me. I wanted her to seek me out on her own. A few seconds passed, my breath no doubt hot on her soft pink lips behind the neatly trimmed silky dark hair. Then, there it was...she propped her ass up just so, calling me even closer.
“That’s it.” I took a long savoring lick of her and she cooed like a dove. With her phone, I took a close-up of that work of art between her legs.
“Now I know what Cole was talking about. You’re like a fucking piece of candy, Kara.” I handed her back her phone. “Send him those pictures.”
“Why?”
“Synergy, Kara.” I took another sip against her pussy. “Haven’t you learned anything yet?”
My cock strained so hard against my zipper it was painful, but several things made me pull her dress down back over her ass. One: when I fucked this woman, I was going to take my goddamned time and do it right. Second: if I got to fuck this woman, I wanted to see the look on her husband’s face and know that he couldn’t wait to be next. Third: someone on the other side of that door actually did need to use the bathroom, and they’d already knocked twice.
“Sent,” she practically chirped.
I stood up and adjusted myself as best I could. “Go out and tell the poor lady out there that the toilet is out of order and she should use the men’s room.”
“Okay.”
“Then go get Cole. We’re out of here.”
When it was safe to leave the bathroom unseen, I found Kara and Cole waiting at the end of the hall.
“You got the message?” I asked him.
“Loud and clear,” Cole said with a tip of his head.
I fucking liked that guy and not just for his six-month dick-free pucker. He was just easy to like. We walked out of that place with me leading the way to the limo, the two eager ducklings behind me. I felt responsible for them somehow. I mean, this was my idea after all, and though clearly, they were both grown-ass adults, both of them seemed stuck in a loop, and goddammit if I wasn’t the kind of guy to help when I could. My shrink had a name for it that I could never remember because at the time I told him it was bullshit. But yeah, I liked being needed. My ex didn’t need a fucking thing from me but my credit card at the end of the day. I shook my head, wondering why I had to go and think of her. I glanced at Cole, opening the car door for him as the driver opened the other side for Kara.
Cole hesitated before ducking inside. “Hey, what’s up?” he asked me, concern washing over his sculpted features.
I got caught up in his hazel eyes in that moment, the honesty swirling in them amidst the green and brown and amber. “Huh? Oh, nothing.” I scooted in after him, taking the seat opposite.
“You sure?” Cole asked, and I couldn’t fucking help myself. I leaned forward and captured the back of his head with my palm and kissed him. He didn’t so much as kiss me back, more like he eagerly accepted whatever I wanted to take. Goddamn.
“Yeah. I’m sure.”
Kara breathed out a chopped sigh. “Oooh...” she leaned over and spoke into his ear. “I really like watching you with him.”
I turned toward her, still considering whether I wanted another kiss. “As much as you liked watching him eat you out?”
“Almost as much.” Kara bit her lip. “Did you like doing it, Cole?”
“Are you seriously asking me that?” Cole asked her. “Kara, last night was amazing in every way.”
“Was I your first?”
Cole swallowed hard and it looked to me like he was stalling. More to the point, Cole hadn’t looked like a stranger to pussy in the least last night.
“I’ve...done it before.”
“Oh?” Kara sounded genuinely surprised. “When? I never knew you even kissed a girl before.”
“It was a long time ago. I was drunk.”
“Like last night.”
Cole pinned her with his gaze then, and those hazel eyes narrowed. “Not at all like last night.”
There was something unsettled between them, still. I mean, no shit, it was filling up the entire back seat. “Kara, you really had no idea that Cole is bisexual?”
“He never told me he was...I never saw him with a girl.” She was answering my question but looking at Cole.
“I don’t know. You never asked.”
“Seriously?” I asked. “It never came up? You’re married.”
“We’re best friends.” They said at once, like it was an important distinction.
I chuckled. “All the more reason it’s odd that it never came up.”
Cole shrugged. “Well, now you know.” He stared at her for a few beats before continuing. “Do you have any regrets?”
“About last night? Cole, I just sent you pics of my pussy.”
He grinned. “So, you’re good with a repeat?”
“I think we’ve officially graduated to friends with benefits.” She pursed her lips thoughtfully. “I trust you. We know exactly where we stand with each other, and there’s none of that stupid lovesick bullshit to cloud my judgment. I mean, it’s really kind of the perfect setup. No risk, all reward.”
I watched Cole flinch just the slightest bit at the term, but it was quick and he smiled an instant later. “Better than full medical, baby.”
It took us no more than fifteen minutes to return to The Lux. Cole grabbed Kara’s hand and practically ran from the car. I tipped the driver and watched them paw at each other as they waited for the porter on duty to open the door. Fact is, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride about the chemistry swirling in the air around them...couldn’t help but feel a little responsible for it. I also couldn’t help but wonder if they still needed me. Maybe my job was done.
Damn, I hoped not.
When the door finally opened, we thanked the porter and politely said good night to him all in one breath. My sudden instinct was to follow behind him, headed to my own compartment. I had to remember these two weren’t a long-term assignment.
