Caleb laughed.
Eli stood and pulled Kinley up in front of him and held her steady until she was ready to step back. “How are you doing?”
She looked up at him. “My stomach hurts, and I wanted to keep going.”
He groaned. “Fuck, baby, don’t say that.”
“But it’s true.”
“It is for me, as well. But this isn’t the place I want our first lovemaking to happen.”
She sighed and nodded in disappointment. “You’re right. I don’t either.”
When Eli looked around again, Caleb had Bella sitting on his back while he did push-ups. The man was a beast.
“We’ll see you guys later.”
“Can Kinley have a picnic with me in Daddy’s office today?”
Eli looked down at his woman and saw her smile.
“I think she’d like that a lot. What time do you want her there?”
“Noon.”
“She’ll be there.”
Eli directed Kinley toward a door off to the side. “This is where the showers are. I say we shower separately today. We’re both on edge, and I can’t promise I’ll be able to hold back.”
“That’s fine.”
“When you get moved into the condo, we’ll be able to go there to shower. Let’s grab our stuff.”
Fifteen minutes later, they were headed out of the gym. He bit back a laugh when he caught sight of a shirtless Bella sitting on Caleb’s stomach while he did sit up. He made it fun by sucking on a tit every time he rose, making her squeal.
Leave it to Caleb to find a way to make sit-ups fun.
They greeted Mrs. Bennet as they stepped off the elevator on their floor. He walked away but heard part of their conversation.
“How are you this morning, young lady?”
“I’m good, Mrs. Bennet. Eli is taking good care of me.”
“I see that. He’s a good man.”
If that woman was giving him praise, he was good to go.
Kinley walked into the office as he was standing at his desk and going through messages.
He knew when she caught sight of the new pink and purple laptop on her desk.
“Eli, did you do this?”
“Yes, baby. No one else better not be taking care of my own.”
She ran to him and hugged him tightly. “Thank you so much.”
He pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “You're very welcome. Tell me if you need anything for it.”
She stepped back and looked up at him. “Did you eat breakfast, Eli?”
He grinned at her. “No.”
“I can get you coffee here, but I’ll go out and get you something.”
“No, I want you here. We can call out for something to eat. It’s just for today. Next week, we’ll eat at our condo before coming down here.”
“I like that.”
“I agree.” He smiled and sat at his desk.
