Chapter 10.
Grayson.
I stared down at my mate and admired every little bit of her. The shape of her spine, the curve of her ass, the sweetness of her face… Everything about her telling me that I’d finally found my home.
I stretched my back, sweat covering my skin.
“Whoa, that was intense.”
Brad and Aaron nodded in agreement, though they didn’t answer verbally. They were well on their way to falling asleep too.
I, however, was nowhere near it. I still buzzed with adrenaline and the intense pleasure that came with mating with my woman.
“You guys climb into bed and stay with her. I’m gonna have a shower.”
Aaron and Brad nodded as they lifted Nevaeh up onto the pillows and pulled the covers up over them.
I stood frozen for several minutes, watching them, unable to move, although I itched from the sweat that stuck to my skin.
My heart was breaking. In the very best possible way. I’d never seen anything as beautiful as the sight before me. My mate, nestled between my Beta and Omega. All of them sleeping soundly from the mating that would bond us all together for the rest of our lives.
I had a life. I had a real family. I had a mate.
I was complete.
I struggled with the strength of the emotion in my chest.
I glanced to the door, a part of my soul wanting to shift and run. To expel all of this extra energy and race through the forest with the dirt beneath my paws and my Alpha wolf in his natural element.
But a hot shower called me, and I gave into my human side. I walked into the ensuite and turned on the hot water.
I was tense, but blissed. Itchy, yet settled. I was everything all at once, and it totally blew my mind that this was where my life was at now.
I stepped beneath the spray, scrubbed my skin and washed my hair.
What a world this was.
Just… wow.
When I was dry and dressed again, my family finally woke.
Aaron and Brad were first to stand up and move around the room, then finally our Queen stirred.
I slipped into the warm spot on the bed Aaron had left and took her, still naked, into my arms.
“How are you feeling, beautiful girl?”
She buried her head into my shoulder, her lips caressing my skin.
“Good.”
I chuckled. “Just good, huh? We need to try harder next time to make you feel even better, do we?”
She looked up at me, her eyes wide and scared. “I didn’t mean…”
I laughed loudly. “Oh, sweetheart, I was joking.”
She smiled gently. “It was amazing. All of it. I’ve never known anything like it.”
