I glanced around, looked at the bike, then back to Luke. I slid my coat on. “Oh, I’m going to need to have sex on that bike for this.”

One of the valets started to choke as Luke let out another laugh and helped me put the helmet on.

“You’re lucky I’m wearing panties under this dress,” I said.

A full-on grin appeared on his handsome face before he leaned in and said, “You won’t be for long.”

Oh my Lord. Yes, please, sign me up for that.

Luke climbed onto the bike first, then held his hand out for me. I damn near did almost have to hike the dress up to my boobs, but I managed to get on without giving the two young valets a sideshow.

“Ready?”

I jumped, then squeezed my arms around Luke and laughed. “Oh my God, there are speakers in the helmets?”

“And mics,” he said with a chuckle.

“Men,” I whispered as Luke started the bike and pulled out. I closed my eyes and tried to keep my breathing steady, but as he sped up, my nervousness turned to pure excitement. I let out a little scream and held on tighter. It took me another five minutes to work up the nerve to open my eyes.

I was in awe while Luke drove us through the streets of Boston. He appeared to be going in the opposite direction of both my place and his…and the pizza place.

“Where are we going?” I asked.

“Somewhere a little less crowded.”

I held onto him while attempting to also hold onto my coat. My purse was securely over my shoulder, but I was positive we looked like raging idiots on this bike.

“Next time will you give me a warning, so I can bring a change of clothes?”

Luke laughed and turned into a parking lot, parking the bike outside of a…bar. The only thing lit up outside on the building was a sign that said Fletchers.

“You’re bringing me to a bar, Luke Morrison? Really?”

He took off the helmet and ran his fingers though his hair. I was pretty sure I moaned, and not internally.

“I’m getting you some food, and no, we’re not eating in the bar.”

With a quick glance around, I tried to find the restaurant we were going to, but the only thing near the parking lot was the bar.

Luke laced his fingers with mine, and we walked in. There were maybe a handful of customers. It was a hell of a lot nicer on the inside than it was on the outside. The moment the bartender saw Luke, he called out his name, jumped over the bar, and pulled him in for a massive bro hug.

“Jesus Christ, Luke, what are you doing here?” He shook his head and smiled as he gave Luke a once-over. It was odd, but he looked a bit like him. Same hair color, same build. His eyes weren’t as dark and he wasn’t as handsome as Luke, but he was still good-looking.

“I needed a place to bring my girl for some dinner.”

The bartender turned and looked at me. He gave me a slow perusal, then focused back on Luke. “Is this Brighton, then?”

I jerked my head back a bit in surprise. I hadn’t realized that anyone other than Hank and Luke’s family knew about me.

Luke wrapped his arm around me and drew me to his side. “This is her. Brighton, this is Jack Fletcher, my brother.”

I extended my hand and smiled, then looked at Luke. “Your brother? You have a brother? I thought you only had a sister?”

Luke winked while Jack let out a roar of laughter. “I’m the family’s dirty little secret. The bastard child our old man had when he cheated on his wife.”

My mouth dropped open. “You’ve never told me about Jack.”

Luke shrugged. “I wanted to introduce you to him first.”

“And you didn’t think a heads up was warranted?”

“Jack is a…touchy conversation around my mother. I needed to make sure you wouldn’t slip up in front of her.”

I folded my arms over my chest and glared at him. “Slip up? You do realize I’m not an idiot.”

He pulled me back to him and kissed me quickly. “Yes, I know. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about him sooner.”

If there was one thing I couldn’t do, it was stay mad at Luke. Not when he looked at me that way, or kissed me. Or touched me. He was like a damn drug that both thrilled me and made me slightly wary. And truth be told, I wasn’t mad. I had been taken by surprise, and I hated surprises.

“Are there more Jacks I should know about?” I asked.

Jack and Luke both laughed. “Most likely,” Jack said. “Come on, let’s get you two fed. Lou is here today, and she happened to make your favorite.”

Luke let out a groan. “Oh man, this is my lucky night.”
