“Sure,” I say with zero sincerity, and his grin spreads a little wider like he can see inside my head. “I wanted to know if you wanted to get some work done or whatever,” I babble on, lying a little too obviously.

You’re a sexy beast right now, Sicily. Even my inner mind is making snarky jokes at me.

His hand on my neck slides up, and his fingers lazily rake through my hair.

“We could work,” he says with a one-shoulder shrug. “If that’s really what you want to do.”

Before I can answer, his lips find mine again, and I moan into his mouth as my hands go up and tangle in his soft, barely-long enough, inky-black hair.

He presses up against me, and I bump the door with the back of my head, getting a better angle to allow him to properly devour me. And he doesn’t disappoint.

I’ve never been kissed the way Anderson Harper kisses me, like he can’t get enough no matter how much he tries. It’s like being consumed and worshipped in the same kiss, and I lose myself to him more and more. Especially now that he’s not holding back anymore. It makes this kiss so much different—twice as intoxicating and ten times hungrier.

His hands move to my ass, tugging me even closer as he grinds against me. I have no idea what ridiculous things I’m trying to say, because his mouth is fortunately still fused to mine and drinking in all my sounds.

My arms go around the back of his neck, holding on while he lifts me from the ground. Ignoring my legs that dangle as he walks me farther into the room, I continue to explore his mouth like there’s a pot of gold to be found if I’m thorough enough.

With sexy ease, he lowers me to the bed, coming down on top of me while he continues to kiss me. Like a pair of innocent teenagers making out, our hands stay in the safe zones, content to just be mouth-fucking each other.

I can totally do this.

“Hey, Anderson, you in there?”

My brother’s voice and some loud knocking has Anderson bolting off me, and I dive off the bed. Instinct alone has me rolling under it a second before the door swings open. Inwardly cursing Roman, I stare out of the large gap of the tall bed.

Feet are all I can see as I quietly pant for air, and I hear Anderson clearing his throat several times. Why didn’t we lock the damn door?

“Umm…did I interrupt something?” I hear my brother asking through a laugh. “Because it’s pretty sick if I just caught you getting it on with that lotion bottle.”

I have no idea what lotion bottle he’s talking about, but I hear the nervous laughter slip out of Anderson in response.

“What’s up?” Anderson asks instead of answering that loaded question.

“Just came by to see if you wanted to join us at the pool. Kasha is currently experiencing some technical difficulties with Jill, and I know you love those days. Figured it’d be good for you to have some fun this weekend and take a break from work.”

“I’ll be down in a minute,” Anderson tells him.

Roman’s feet turn toward the door, but then turn back around.

“By the way, have you seen Sicily? I was trying to find her earlier, but—”

“Why would I have seen her?” The misleading question rolls off Anderson’s tongue with ease and grace.

I’m the world’s most awkward sneak, and he’s the most skilled.

What am I doing with Anderson Harper?

“She should be a few rooms down, but only a crazy lady squawking about relentless turtles being deployed answered when I knocked on the door.” I stifle a groan as Roman continues. “If you see her, tell her there’s no Wifi until next week because of the storms that blew through, so she’s going to have to learn to have fun.”

I roll my eyes so hard that I think I get a glimpse of my brain. That doesn’t even sound like my brother anymore. He used to be as much of a workaholic as I am.

My phone can lend me Wifi. And work isn’t the reason I need it right now.

The quest to learn normal sex is on.

For the first time ever, I’m more concerned about the guy enjoying it than myself. Sheesh, that makes me sound terribly selfish.

“Yeah,” Anderson says on a long breath, snapping me out of my wayward thoughts. “I’ll be sure to mention that,” he adds, dropping to the bed.

I barely stop a sound from escaping my mouth when the bed bounces, and Roman’s feet turn to leave. As soon as the door shuts, I poke my head out from under the bed to see Anderson peering over with a mocking grin on his face.

“I thought we were going to tell him about us,” he says, his eyes laughing at me even as his mouth stays quiet.
