I call Lydia and it goes to voicemail, so I try Darcy and she doesn’t answer either. I shoot them both a nasty text thanking them for the warning and then I turn on the spray. Fifteen minutes later, I’m clean and tired. It’s been an insanely long day and I’m getting hungrier and more upset by the moment. I’m just about to get dressed when I realized that I forgot my underwear. “Son of a bitch,” I hiss.

There’s no way I’m going panty-less around this man. It’s bad enough he makes me want to be naked; I don’t need less clothes in my way. Wrapping up in my robe and a towel for my hair, I sneak out toward my bedroom, hoping Sean doesn’t see me. Of course, I’m completely out of luck and he’s standing in the hallway.

“I’m sorry. I thought I heard someone at the door,” he mutters, running his hand through his brown hair before stuffing his hands in his pockets. It’s then that I can’t miss the large length against his jeans. Holy hell—the man has more to unpack than boxes.

“They’ll ring the bell,” I tell him, swallowing hard.

“Oh, okay.”

“It will take a while.” I walk away, giving him my back, and hurry up into my room. Damn him. Why does he have to be so freaking good looking?

Chapter Five

Sean

I knew damn well it wasn’t the pizza delivery. A part of me just wanted to see what she would do if I came out just as she did from the bathroom. It’s a dickhead move, but I know that she would at least be semi-dressed. My dick jerked in my pants watching her slender legs slightly wet and bare as she stood in front of me in her tiny bathrobe. It wasn’t too tiny but it fit snugly, leaving nothing to the imagination.

I stand in the middle of the living room, wondering if moving in was the smartest thing to do. At first, the plan sounded wonderful, but now, I’m thinking I’m going to send myself into a mental breakdown. The woman has my heart and soul, not to mention my balls. I can’t even explain how often I’ve beaten off in the past two fucking weeks, only to put myself in her path.

“Sean, are you okay?”

“Um…Yeah? Why?” I turn and see Georgie standing in front of me in a pair of pink cotton shorts and a Queen T-shirt.

“The doorbell.” She walks right past me and goes to the door and opens it. I’m right behind her, seeing her round ass in those tiny shorts.

Letting out a growl, I open the door wide, grabbing the pizzas. “Thank you,” I snarl at the man.

“Thank you.”

“What was that about?” she hisses with her hands on her hips the second the door closes.

“Look what you’re wearing?” I say, drawing my eyes up and down her perfectly made body.

“Clothes?” she asks like a fucking smart ass.

I remember that I have to win her trust and love. I’m fucking it up already, so I sigh and answer, “Yes…”

“Whatever. The pizza’s gonna get cold.” I’m glad she let it slide because I’m showing my hand way too fucking soon. She’s going to know the real reason I’m here before I’ve found a way to win her heart, and then she’ll have me out on my ass.

“So let’s dig in. Oh shit, I’m going to need silverware for this thing.” Georgie lets out a giggle, and I stare. Fuck, she’s so damn pretty. She stops and blushes. That’s the third time since I’ve met her that she’s unleashed that beautiful laugh, and I want it to be a normal occurrence.

“What?” she asks.

“Nothing.” I can’t believe how breathtakingly beautiful she is. I want her for the rest of my days.

“I just…I didn’t mean to laugh at you.”

“Oh, you totally meant to laugh at me and this monstrous pizza,” I chuckle as I get the words out.

“Okay, I did, but it is good. Not something I’d ever order, but people like it.”

“Utensils?” I ask.

“In the kitchen.” She points in the direction of the kitchen.

“Smartass.” She winks at me, and I’m tempted to bend her over my chair and teach her a lesson.

“That’s me.”

“Eat your food,” I grumble as I get up and walk to the kitchen to find something to eat this thing with. After digging through several drawers, I finally find the silverware. I’m about to pull them out when suddenly there’s a loud boom and the sky darkens. “What the hell?”

“Oh wow,” she says from the living room.

“What’s going on?” I call out, coming back to my seat.

“We have a good storm coming through.” I take a look toward the three large windows. Rain begins pelting down hard.

“I didn’t expect that.”

“It happens. I forgot to check the forecast, but sometimes there are some heavy summer storms, possible tornadoes, and microbursts.”
