God breathed heavily while Day licked each nipple then tongued his way to the beautiful tattoos along the large biceps. The designs of Chinese art and intricate patterns wove around his side to his back. Leo loved the skull and crossbones engulfed in flames on his left pectoral muscle.

“I’m thinking about getting some more ink done,” Day said. He had a Canterbury Cross over his left pec and a couple armbands on each arm… nothing major. Not like the beautiful art on the man that was splayed under him now.

“You hungry?” Leo asked between licks.

“No, if you mean for me to go out and get something. Yes, if you’re going out to get it,” God said.

“I mean I’ll fix you something to eat, lazy ass.” Day grabbed a large piece of God’s flesh in his teeth, satisfied with the grunt he got from the big man.

“That sounds even better.”

Day watched God’s eyes meet his own. Beautiful green eyes stared at him for several minutes before he saw God turn away and take a deep breath. Day rose and fell with the movement. “If you’re ready to talk, I’m ready to listen,” Day whispered and lightly kissed God over his heart.

“Yeah, I think I am ready. Can we talk after breakfast?”

“Okay. Do you have something to do today?” Day asked.

“No. I want to go back to the hotel and change,” God responded.

Day wondered if he should ask God about staying with him until he found another place. He didn’t want to freak God out, they’d just said they loved each other, but it didn’t mean they were ready to pick out china. He felt God’s thick fingers under his chin, pulling him back to face him.

“Just ask already.” God snorted a laugh.

Day rolled his eyes. Sometimes he forgot how perceptive they were with each other. Day could pick up most of God’s thoughts, just like the man could pick up his. “Fine.” Day grumbled. “Do you want to stay here with me? I’m not trying to clamp a ball and chain around your ankle or anything; I just thought economically it’d make more sense you know, not having to pay all that money for weeks when I’m right here with all this extra room. Then it'd be beneficial that you didn’t have to travel to pick me up for work. We could split the housework, too because I hate raking the leaves and you don’t seem to mind. Also, I thought—”

“Leo, shut the hell up.” God’s eyes were wide as he stared at him.

Day registered that he had rambled on; letting his nerves get the best of him while basically asking God to move in with him. The man was his partner but he was also so damned guarded.

“I could stay here with you until I find my own place.” God kissed him on the forehead and nudged him off him so he could sit up and swing his long legs over the side.

Day had to fight to contain his excitement. Now wasn't the time to show his super serious partner his happy dance. Day just watched God run his hands through his deep waves. Hell, Day even liked the way the covers pooled between his bare thighs, just covering his soft cock that still shone from his spit. Day climbed off the bed and stood in front of him. God wrapped his hands around Day’s naked waist and kissed the slick hair between his navel and groin.

“Go fix breakfast while I shower,” he commanded and popped Day's ass.

Day barely held in the hiss since his ass was still deliciously sore. He grabbed a pair of sweats out of the dresser, slipping them on as he headed down to the kitchen.

Day was pulling ingredients out of his refrigerator to make eggs Benedict—knowing how much God loved it—when his phone rang.

Day saw it was one of the detectives at the precinct and groaned quietly. There goes my lazy afternoon. He picked up after the third ring.

“This is Day.” He listened to one of the surveillance detectives inform him of some glitches they may have regarding plans for the raid. The man said there would be a mandatory strategy meeting at two at the station and hung up without allowing Day respond.

It was only eight. That gave him plenty enough time to have a good chat and still get God’s stuff to his house.

Day was just whipping the hollandaise sauce to pour over a perfectly poached egg when God wrapped him in his large arms. Day would never figure out how the hell the man could be so fucking stealthy at six foot fucking four.

“Smells good,” God said, while licking the side of Day’s two-day-old beard stubble.

“So do you,” Day responded. He kept at his task, trying to ignore the persistent wood now pushing against his ass. He scooped a generous amount of potatoes onto both their plates. God released him and went to sit at the breakfast bar.
