Longer.

Thicker.

When I glance up, electricity sizzles through my veins as our gazes collide.

I clear my throat along with any embarrassment trying to take hold within me. “Morning.”

The corners of his lips lift into a slow smile. “Morning. Sleep good?”

The deep scrape of his voice sends a thousand shivers skittering across my flesh. It takes effort to focus on his words and not what they do to me.

“Yeah. You?”

Heat flares to life in his eyes. “Never better.”

When he stretches, his muscles flex and his erection swells.

My gaze drops to the movement as I edge closer until my tongue can flick across the blunt tip. As soon as I make contact, a guttural groan escapes from him. My fingers curl around his shaft as I bring the head to my lips and swirl my tongue around it. His cock is like silk-encased steel, and I can’t get enough. All I want to do is take this time to explore every inch of him.

“Elle,” he growls, shifting restlessly beside me.

My gaze stays pinned to his face as I suck his length into my mouth.

That’s all it takes for his eyelids to lower to half-mast. “You’re playing with fire.”

After a few moments, I allow him to slide free. “Really? Cause it kind of seems like I’m playing with your dick.”

A snarl rumbles up from deep within his chest before vibrating in his throat. It makes him sound like something wild. The Carson I’ve known since we were kids has always been firmly in control. It’s sexy as hell to see the façade slip. Even just a little bit. Especially since I’m the one causing it to happen.

“Fuck,” he hisses as the cool air in the room rushes over his damp flesh. “Do you have any idea how long I’ve fantasized about you doing that?”

I shake my head.

“Years.” There’s a pause as his voice drops. “Longer, if I’m being completely honest.”

Does he realize how much that admission turns me on? “And now here I am, doing exactly that.”

Before he can respond, I draw him back inside my mouth. I’ve never done this before, so there’s a little bit of a learning curve. Carson’s palm settles on the top of my head before he brushes the hair away from my eyes. Maybe I’m not doing this precisely right, but he doesn’t seem to mind. If the look on his face is anything to go by, he’s enjoying it. I’ve always been a quick study.

Except in math.

Thankfully, this has nothing to do with algebraic equations or statistics.

“Mmmm, that feels so good, baby.” He arches his back, lifting his hips off the mattress.

My movements become voracious. More than anything, I want him to come. I want to give him as much pleasure as he’s given me.

Just as his muscles tighten, the front door of the cabin crashes open before slamming shut. Not a second later, an irate voice bellows from the first floor, “Elle?”

My eyes widen as my mouth tightens around his hard length. When Carson hisses out a breath, I quickly release him before scrambling up and yanking the covers over my naked body.

“Carson!” my brother shouts again, his voice growing closer as he moves through the first floor before pounding up the staircase.

“Fuck.” With that, Carson rolls from the bed and jumps to his feet. “Get dressed.”

My mind cartwheels as I sit motionless.

Dressed.

Right.

Brayden.

That’s all it takes for me to scurry from the bed. I scan the area, searching for my shirt and jeans before grabbing them from the floor and racing to the bathroom. Thankfully, Carson is already a few steps ahead of me. His boxers are on and he’s jerking his jeans up his thighs. I slam the door closed and yank the sweatshirt over my head. My fingers shake as I fumble, lurching to the side before hauling the black stretchy material up my legs and over my hips.

From the other side of the door, my brother yells, “What the actual fuck?”

I wince, squeezing my eyes tight before forcing them open again. As tempting as it is to stay locked behind the thick wood, I can’t leave Carson to deal with Brayden alone. From the tone of his voice, I can already tell he’s on the verge of losing his shit. I’ve witnessed my brother get angry, but it’s never been directed at me.

Or his friend.

Inhaling a deep breath, I wrap my fingers around the brushed nickel handle and pull open the door before stepping over the threshold. I have to prod myself into movement with each forced step. The heavy tension permeating the air is almost suffocating in its intensity, and I stumble to a halt. Brayden’s head whips toward me before his eyes widen. He hovers over the threshold like a vampire who needs to be invited inside.

Have I ever seen him look at me with such shock and disbelief?
