“Never. We just don’t tell you about it so you don’t worry.”

“Fine. How about I finish up here and you two go have a good time, but be back in an hour or I might come looking for you.”

“Make it two, because you might not like what you see if you come looking for us,” I say, giving him a wink.

“God, aren’t you too old for that?” He squints his eyes shut attempting to avoid the mental image. He’ll understand one day when he finds the woman he loves, but that day hasn’t come yet. He hasn’t even started thinking about that yet, which is good. Irina married pretty young, but she’s happy and has given us more grandbabies.

“I sure as hell hope not,” Esperanza gasps, pressing her hand to her chest. I grab her ass and kiss her hard.

“Well, I’m going to finish up in here and then I’m going to give Milo a call and let him know what you two are up to again.”

“That’s fine, but he’s still as bad as we are.” Esperanza slaps my chest and shakes her head pretending to be shocked. “What? It’s the truth. The grandkids will tell you that too.”

“You have a point there.” She rolls her eyes and so does Junior.

“Let’s get going, my beauty.” I wink at my wife and wave to my son as we leave.

We’re gone over two hours, but I send a text to let him know we’re more than fine.
