But Preston’s not an uncaring brute nor a rude oaf. After we finished in the dressing room, he helped me get dressed and laughed when I fingered my destroyed panties.

“What am I supposed to do with these?” I mock-complained.

He got a look in his eyes and gently licked the crotch before pressing the fabric to his nose and inhaling deeply.

“It’s all you, honey,” he rasped over my shocked squeal. “I’d keep these, but you need them to soak up the semen trailing from your butt.” Then he helped me into the thong and even zipped up my dress before slapping my round rump with a thwack.

“I’ve been in here,” he announced with a satisfied look to his eye. “And it was delicious.”

I giggled but our absence was sure to be noticed if we didn’t get back. As a result, we tiptoed back into the hallway and then re-entered the ballroom. Preston let me go in first, and then made an entrance himself ten minutes later, and I couldn’t believe how perfect he looked. Not a black hair was out of place, and if anything, he appeared even more suave and dashing, like a satisfied alpha male.

The sex had been excellent. It was the best sex of my life, in fact, and maybe it’s because Preston’s older and skilled, I suppose. He knew every place to kiss, and to stroke. He knew exactly how to make me moan, and how to make me shudder hotly all over his hard shaft.

Even just remembering it is making me warm. But now, it’s Monday morning and I’m back at my job at Frosty Freeze serving ice cream cones to customers. Fortunately, no one’s here right now so I’m able to daydream and fantasize to my heart’s content. Still lost in thought, I swipe at the counters of the ice cream bar with a damp, sanitized rag. However, my distraction must be obvious because it isn’t long before my coworker, Dani, makes her way from the toppings station to stand in front of me with a puzzled look.

“Carolyn,” she calls while waving a hand in front of my face. “Are you okay? I called your name like three times.”

I shake my head to clear it and smile, giggling a bit at how giddy I feel. “Oh, yeah. Sorry, I’m just a little distracted.”

I’m the manager, but that doesn’t mean much at a place like Frosty Freeze. Instead, Dani and I are more friends than anything. We’re about the same age, and she’s a good worker, so I never really have to write her up for anything. Instead, I just approve her timestamps, and every once in a while, pull rank on her when I don’t feel like taking out the trash. As you can see, we’re more like coworkers than manager and subordinate, and more like friends than coworkers.

But it’s fine because I genuinely like Dani. Her spirit is playful and fun, and she’s beautiful to boot with dark curly hair and curves that go on for days, just like myself. Right now, however, she’s staring at me.

“Are you sure you’re feeling okay, Car? I mean, you’re never this out of it.”

I giggle again. “Really, Dani, I’m good.” Really good, I think. Excellently amazing stupendously happy, even.

My friend nods, leaning against the counter.

“Okay, does it have to do with the wedding this weekend? How was it?” she asks, crossing her arms over her chest.

I smile secretively.

“It was great,” I say in an airy voice. “Really amazing. I’m so glad my buddy Zora got married. She and her husband are made for one another.”

Dani laughs and nods.

“Okay. I guess you and Corey danced the night away, then? Was the music good?”

Oh, shit. Corey. I’ve completely forgotten about him and bite my lip.

“Um, not exactly.”

My friend frowns. “What do you mean? Did he have to work? That can’t be it right because I thought he got fired from the restaurant he was a waiter at?”

I nod.

“He was, yeah. It’s just that we sort of broke up so Corey and I are on the outs now.”

Dani stares at me in surprise.

“I’m sorry? You what?” Sighing, I toss her a rag as I begin to sweep the floor.

“Well, it’s kind of a long story.”

My friend nods furiously. “Yeah, and I need, like, every detail. Oh my God Carolyn, are you okay? You two have been going out since forever, so I can’t believe you broke up.”

“Two years isn’t forever,” I say in a wry tone while running the broom beneath a stool. “And yes, I’m fine. Really. It wasn’t working out anyways, so I guess this is a good thing.”

Dani still looks semi-shocked though.

“God. I’m so sorry, Carebear. Did he do it before the wedding so he wouldn’t be in all the pictures, or did he wait until after so you could enjoy the party? Sometimes guys are so clueless, but maybe he thought ahead.”
