A sloppy smile crossed my cheeks, and a giggle fell from my lips.
“Mhm,” I said.
“How are you feeling?” Liam asked.
“Mmmm,” I said.
“Don’t think she can talk yet,” Luke said.
“Mm-mm,” I said.
“Then why don’t you listen?” Liam asked.
“Hummmm,” I said with a groan.
“We’re all going to be here for you,” Luke said.
“And we’re all going to help you raise this baby,” Levi said.
“We’ll be here through the pregnancy, and whether you want it or not, someone is always going to be checking up on you,” Logan said.
“But no matter what, know this,” Liam said. “We love you. All of us. You’ll never be alone again. And it doesn’t matter if your life plan doesn’t work out. We’ll help you make a new one.”
I giggled and shook my head as I burrowed further into the covers.
“No matter what,” Luke said, “we’ll be here. Because we love you, Sam. You’re the only girl for us, and we want to take care of you and protect you.”
“Let us do that, Samantha,” Liam said. “Let us be the men you deserve.”
And just before I fell asleep, I nodded.
Because I trusted every word they said.
CHAPTER 35
LIAM
“What’s that smell?” Samantha said.
“Not a good one?” I asked as I came in through the door.
“Oh no. It’s a great one,” she said.
“Good. Because I slipped out to get us all breakfast. Are the rest of the guys up?”
“We’re getting there,” Levi said as he came walking out of Samantha’s room.
“I’ve got breakfast and coffee,” I said as I set everything down on the coffee table.
“You might want to clean that first,” Luke said.
“Morning, guys. Got food and coffee,” I said.
I felt Samantha come up and kiss my cheek before everyone started reaching for their food.
“So, can I just hop into this shit?” Levi asked.
“What shit?” Samantha asked.
