He took her hand, leading her down to the party.

Since the moment she arrived, the clubhouse had been alive with activity. Loud music, couples dancing. The beat and pulse humming. She loved the sound, but Damon had taken her hand, leading her straight upstairs.

He hadn’t taken a shower with her, as he claimed neither of them would make it to the party.

She loved how he made her feel so desirable. Like he couldn’t not touch her. It was one of the many highlights of her life. One she didn’t want to end.

They joined the party, and Damon headed straight to the bar. She expected him to get them shots, but they were both drinking orange juice, which she was thankful for. Even if her suspicions weren’t correct about possibly being pregnant, she wasn’t stupid enough to risk any damage to her unborn child.

“To the future,” he said.

She lifted her glass with a smile. They clinked together.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Beauty dancing between Adonis and Grizzly. The woman looked to be in her element.

Damon was with her though, and she didn’t have to deal with the threat.

He finished his drink in several large gulps. As she put the drink to her lips, it took her a little longer, but she finished it with a chuckle.

He grabbed her hand, leading her onto the dance floor. The moment she was in his arms, nothing else mattered. The interview that was rescheduled to a couple of days from now ceased to matter. Anna’s troubles were no longer her problem. Her place within the club didn’t even register to her.

All she cared about was being in Damon’s arms, feeling this connection between them, and not letting it go.

She loved how he ran his hands down her ass, holding her against him. The hard ridge of his cock pressed against her core. Teri closed her eyes, wrapping her arms around his neck, dancing to the beat and allowing it to come down around her.

Teri lost track of the time as they danced. Each song moving into the next one until she had no choice but to use the bathroom.

Damon told her to meet him back at the bar.

She disappeared and went in search of the bathroom. Upon entering, she came to a stop as she caught sight of Beauty flinging her head back, the trail of drugs clear to see on the edge of the counter.

The Dirty Fuckers MC were not into drugs of any kind. Seeing this in their place made Teri angry.

Beauty opened her eyes, and they were glazed over.

Now she knew why the woman was such a hit with all the guys. She was mostly high when she was with them.

“Hey, beautiful. You want a hit? Believe me, it helps.”

Teri pressed her lips together.

She wasn’t a member of the club, had only been a club whore, but she also knew respect, and this woman, yeah, there was no respect there. The men in the club like to party and they enjoyed fucking women. They made no bones about it, and they certainly didn’t hide it.

“Want a hit? Believe me, it helps when you’ve got three dicks all vying to be inside you,” Beauty said.

Teri froze, not knowing what to do. Her place wasn’t exactly secure within the club, but this was so fucking wrong. She couldn’t allow this to happen. Women like Beauty brought nothing but problems.

Before she realized what she was doing, she crossed the distance between them, grabbed Beauty by her hair and the bag of dope that was also on the counter, and marched her out of the bathroom.

The moment they hit the dance floor, Beauty began to fight against her, screaming, begging for help.

Teri didn’t let her go, even as the music stopped.

“Please, make her stop. She’s hurting me. Please, she’s a monster. She wants to destroy your club.”

Anger slammed into Teri as she threw Beauty to the ground. “I don’t want to destroy the club.” She tossed the bag of drugs at Beauty. Glancing up, she caught sight of Damon at the bar. The tension in his body was clear.

She glanced through the crowd, finding James. “I saw her snorting up in the bathroom. I don’t know where she got it, or how long she’s been doing it. None of that is mine. I just thought you all should know that you’ve been housing an addict. She takes the drugs to take you all on.”

Teri wrapped her arms around herself, feeling the judgment of each of them. She’d ruined their shiny new toy.

Sickness rolled through her, and without another word, she turned on her heel and made her way out of the party. Coming here was a big mistake. She should have known better. She didn’t even know what she was thinking or why she wanted to be with Damon.
