One of them, I couldn’t tell who, grabbed my ass and squeezed. The mystery was solved when Brock said, “What’s wrong with things being exactly like they are now?”
“Nothing,” I said.
“Not a thing,” Kincade agreed.
“It works for me,” Jessie said.
“Well then… let’s do this,” Brock said.
“Good.” I breathed a huge sigh of relief. “That means that at least sometimes, I’ll have all the people I care for in the same place.”
“Care for?” Kincade echoed.
My cheeks reddened. “Care for is another way of saying love. Except it’s too soon for that.”
“Doesn’t feel that way to me,” Jessie said.
“Me either,” Kincade said.
“Then let’s go live in a megapenthouse with the people we love,” Brock said.
It sounded like one hell of a good idea to me.
