“Oh.”
My phone goes off again.
Hunter: Did you fall asleep?
Killian snatches my phone again. His fingers fly across the keyboard in a flurry. He hands me my phone with a proud grin. “All taken care of.”
I look down at my screen.
Liri: I’m sorry. I can’t come down now or any day. I’m busy with Killian.
“You did not just send him that?!”
“I did.”
“Why are you acting like a jealous asshole? You told me you don’t want to date me, and I tell you that I am going to break things off with him and you’re still mad.” I can’t win with his crazy ass.
“I don’t share, Liri, and I won’t share you with other guys.”
“It’s not your choice who I hang out with.”
“Shut up and kiss me,” he demands, and I laugh.
“I think you are certifiable. You know that?” I shake my head and he grabs my face.
He nods and claims my mouth again. I don’t know what we are doing but nothing feels as right as when I am with Killian. His hand moves to my boob, and I moan into his mouth. He makes me feel crazy, but he feels so damn good when he touches me. I don’t know if I will ever get him out of my system, but I am going to enjoy trying. He backs me up until my knees hit the back of my bed. My phone buzzes again but Killian takes it from me and throws it across the room.
“Hey,” I protest when I hear it connect with Hayley’s mirror.
“Hush,” he shushes me and pushes me down gently by my shoulder. “I’m in charge,” he growls. “I have the power.”
I nip at his lip and repay the favor of him biting me, reminding him that I hold the power too. His hand moves up and down my thigh. “These feel smooth like butter.”
“Why do you think I like them so much.”
“I bet you feel better,” he teases. His breath is hot on my neck before he starts sucking on the delicate skin of my collarbone. Killian is controlling and demanding, but I find I like it when he dominates me. “Fuck, Liri.” He pulls away from me.
“What’s wrong now?”
“Nothing. I need to cool down.” He pinches his t-shirt between his fingers and fans himself. I move around him to get off the bed. “Where are you going?”
“To brush my teeth.”
I’m at the sink washing my face and going through my routine when Killian comes into the bathroom. I left the door open. He didn’t barge in on me.
“Which one is yours?” he points to the two brushes in the holder.
“Which do you think it is?”
“Hmm.” He stares at the pink and the yellow one. “The yellow one is yours.”
“Correct. Why did you want to know which one mine was?” He doesn’t answer. He takes my toothbrush and squeezes toothpaste on it and uses it. “That’s not sanitary,” I tell him.
He spits and rinses. “Baby, there are places on your body I am going to stick my tongue that will be far more intimate than me using your toothbrush.”
His words make me blush and he smirks as he brushes his tongue.
I’m in trouble.
