“Yes,” I answer shocked as I can remember driving up to the mansion in a loud car. Closing my eyes, I strain hard to see more but I can’t.
“Do you want to remember more?” He asks as he kisses down my neck, running his hands over my heavy breasts.
“Please.”
“Good girl.” He stands taking my hands in his, bringing me up from the chair.
“You came here before with your grandma Iris. She worked for my family for many years. Can you remember coming here with her?”
“I’m trying Tristian,” I answer leaning in to kiss him.
“Not good enough,” he responds turning away from me.”
“Tristian, please, don’t be cruel.”
“You want to talk about cruel Isa. My father made me crawl to him, dragging my useless legs behind me for my dinner.” My heart sinks. How could a father do that to his child? “I want you to crawl to me wearing the pearls, and only the pearls.” He drops my hands going to the doorway.
“And if I refuse.” I smile deviously.
“You. Will. Do. It. Because. You. Are. Mine.” He stresses each word gritting his teeth.
I do as he wants, going down on all fours. “Like this Tristian?” I ask peering up from under my lashes at him.
His eyes smolder with lust.
“Just like that princess, crawl to me.”
The stone floor is rough, uneven and cold under my knees. The short distance to where he is standing is agonizing as my skin begins to break open.
Tristian watches me, the hunger of his desire warms me and urges me forward.
I no longer only want him, I need him. Whatever this is that we are doing, I crave it. The power he has over me, I can no longer fight it. I surrender to Tristian and give in to my feelings completely.
I can’t get to him fast enough. I reach his feet and he leans down grabbing the pearls in his hand and pulling me to my feet.
“I don’t ever want to see you in any other man’s arms. You get me?”
“I get you,” I choke out, dying to kiss him.
Sharing my need, he lets go of the pearls and brings his mouth to mine. Kissing him is like discovering heaven on earth. I can’t even imagine what sex with him would be like. But I want to find out.
Chapter 19
TRISTIAN
Isa seemed to have a moment of recognition with the pearls, but she doesn’t understand the depths of what she has forgotten. I hope when she learns the truth of the lengths I have gone to for her, she can accept it all.
My mind flashes to the night my father died. I made sure Courtney watched me leave just as she did for the night. I drove to the club and made an appearance making sure everyone saw me go into my office, but that they also never saw me leave.
Two hours later I arrive back home to find my father foaming at the mouth, lying in a pool of his own vomit and excrements. He found me sick like this once after I had my first treatments. I was so sick and couldn’t get to the bathroom. He told me if I was his real son I wouldn’t be sick and need help from anyone.
I stand over him now as he stares up at me, pleading for help with his deep blue pools of evil. I hold my boot on his chest as he struggles to survive. His fingernails scratch at my boots and tug at my jeans.
Squatting down next to him as he gurgles, gasping for a breath, I get close to his ear. “If you were any kind of real husband and father, you wouldn’t need help.”
He makes a muted choking sound.
