I closed my eyes and stayed like that on the bike, palms gripping the handlebars, a slick wetness gathered between my legs, a fire on my skin that felt like I might as well be tearing down the highway against the wind. Even through closed eyes, I could tell when the giant lights switched off. I held my breath as I listened to Cal’s footsteps leading back to me. My breasts had practically fallen out of my dress, which had also ridden high on my ass, showing off my thigh. I could feel the cool air kiss my naked flesh and I shivered in anticipation.

Cal neared and my heart beat out of control. He’s my best friend, but like magic he could elicit this accelerated response in me. I slowed my breathing, forced my lungs to expand—the last thing I wanted to do was have a seizure before he even touched me. He ran a single finger down the length of my spine.

“Flip over, baby girl.”

I sat up straight and then reclined all the way back on the bike. It’s surprisingly wide and cupped me like the palm of a giant hand. Bikes had always scared me because of Adler, but now with Cal and his history, I could feel myself building new associations with motorcycles.

Calvin gently pulled down the spaghetti straps of my back dress. I was not wearing a bra. I opened my eyes and gazed into his green ones. The glow from the emergency exit signs were enough light for us to see each other by. I reached up and began to unbutton his shirt as he claimed my mouth. Cal’s tongue was divine and reminded me of all the sexy things he’s done to me, the creative ways he’d made me come. My muscles clenched in response to the memory as I tore his shirt down his arms.

“I’m probably ruining the seat of a fifty-thousand-dollar Harley,” I said between love bites.

“They don’t even know what’s coming. This bike hasn’t seen anything yet.”

I reached for Calvin’s zipper and he spread a flurry of kisses down my neck, grabbed a breast in one hand and squeezed. When he pulled my nipple into his mouth and sucked I arched my back off the bike. Another flush of warmth between my legs told me I’d never been more ready than right then. I fumbled with his fly and zipper, trying to pull off his pants with one hand.

“What are you, drunk?” Calvin laughed at my desperation. He used one hand to yank down his pants and when he freed himself entirely, he grabbed his dick by the shaft and stroked down the length of it. I had doubts that it would fit, but I shoved them into the back of my mind. Women had babies.

Calvin straddled the bike backwards, and in doing so, also straddled me. My cocktail length dress was now just a swath of fabric lying across my stomach. There were only thin white cotton panties between me and my lover.

“I don’t even want to use a condom. I want nothing between us,” I told him.

“Don’t act crazy, El. We’ve got plenty of time ahead of us.”

He licked my stomach and nipped at the soft flesh. He slid his fingers into the elastic at both sides of my underwear, and then laughed at the predicament.

“I could tear them,” he suggested. Otherwise, I’d either have to get off or practice my high kicks. “Here, bend your leg.” Calvin bent one leg into my chest and maneuvered off my panties, which were drenched in arousal. He slid them down my extended leg and tossed them away from the bike. I covered my face to hide my blush. Cal had seen me naked before, I reminded myself.

“They were about to incinerate anyway,” I told him.

He laughed and stopped my laugh by inserting two fingers into my swollen flesh that was begging to be touched. I moaned so loudly that I had to bite my bottom lip in embarrassment.

“Baby, you’re a fucking grenade, aren’t you?” He pumped his fingers into me deeply as I writhed on the seat, spreading my wetness everywhere. He took my nipple in his mouth again and I started to come apart on his hand, grinding into it as much as I could, desperate for it to reach deep and stroke hard.

Chapter 26

CALVIN

When I left Elli, I felt like I could fly. There was nothing she couldn’t make better in life. The girl was some kind of magic pill, when I was with her my shitty circumstances didn’t seem that bad, nothing was, as long as we were together.

When I approached the house, it was completely dark. I had hoped that no one would be home. As my hand reached for the doorknob, my heart accelerated like it was about to explode. I couldn’t avoid Monty forever, sooner or later we’d collide.
