“Is this a little awkward?” He didn’t even turn his head toward her when he spoke.
“A little. Considering I just met you yesterday, but I guess not as awkward as if we had…”
He finally tuned to catch her stare. “Had sex?”
“Yeah.”
“Would that be so bad?”
A nervous chuckle escaped her mouth. It wouldn’t be bad at all but what was she supposed to say? Can we? I am so horny. She probably looked horrible. Her breath probably smelled like an animal’s ass. Oh God! Please don’t let me have body odor. He still smelled fantastic.
“What did you do to me last night?”
“Huh?” If only he knew exactly what she wanted to do to him.
“You massaged me or something.”
“Reflexology. I used the pressure points in your hands to relieve some of the tension in your head.”
“I thought maybe you were into voodoo.”
“Nope.”
“Too bad. That would’ve been cool.”
“Cooler than admitting alternative medicine actually works?”
He smirked. “Maybe.”
“You shouldn’t make fun. If it wasn’t for me you would have been in a lot more pain and for a lot longer. I just wish I would have had some of my oils with me.”
“Oils? Like body oils?”
“Essential oils. Like aromatherapy.”
“Sure. You just wanted to rub me down. Admit it.”
“I will not. I am a professional.” Her pants were definitely on fire.
“So you’re into all that aura, herbal energy stuff that Amie’s into?”
“If you’re going to put it that way, then yes. I am into aura, herbal energy stuff.”
“Lucky for me. You helped me out. Thanks.”
“Do you get headaches often?” Her overwhelming need to help people couldn’t be overlooked. Even when she was hungover.
“Pretty often. I have all the meds. Sometimes I’m just not quick enough.”
“I tried my best to help. I hope I didn’t embarrass myself too much. I think I’m still a little drunk.”
“Nah. You did the normal drunk girl things.” He snickered.
“You bumped into things, then you hit on me.”
“I did not!”
“So you didn’t ask me to sleep with you?”
