Those words assuaged my jealous heart. I love you.
I feared that when I finally married that my husband would claim he had to work late only to be banging his assistant. Last night, I almost was going to cave to my jealousy of his late nights, but my mother told me to trust and talk to him. When he got all grumpy with me, I knew he’d been jealous. He came home early to see me, and I’d been gone. My mother suggested that I could be pregnant when I called her before going out with Tony’s sister Maggie. My caveman would love that. I can’t wait to see him hold our baby one day. I love him so much it makes my chest hurt.
I climb out of bed, trying not to wake the beast because I need some coffee before he makes me forget everything but his touch. Slipping on one of his tee shirts, I walk downstairs and toward the kitchen. I’m nearly there when I see his office door wide open, and his desk has been cleared. I pick up the laptop, which has been completely ruined. At first, jealousy rips through me. Please don’t tell me he was in there with someone else. No. He wouldn’t, but I need to know what happened. I rush back upstairs and onto the bed, straddling him. “What was going on in the office? Please tell me you didn’t…”
“Didn’t what? Didn’t see that you were looking for a divorce lawyer?”
“Oh my God.” I jump off him, feeling like an asshole. That’s why he called angry, wondering where I was and why I didn’t answer even though I was with his sister. It’s why he fucked me with a crazy possessiveness that was intensely pleasurable, and then held me with just as much vulnerability.
He drags me back, sitting up and pulling me onto his lap. “That’s all you have to say? What did I do? Do I work too much? I’ll try to work from home more.”
“Oh, Tony, I’m sorry. That wasn’t for me.” Tears fall from my eyes. He wipes them away, kissing my lips softly. I pull my face away to let him know what happened yesterday. “The neighbor next door came over and wanted to look it up. She caught her husband having an affair. She went to her mother’s after she looked up a lawyer and made contact. I’m sorry.” As I’m apologizing it strikes me. “Wait? How did you know I looked that up? Were you tracking my search history?”
“No, it pops up with keywords just under the search bar and says recent search history.”
“Oh, well. You goof. I’m not going anywhere. I love you.”
“That’s good because I’d chase you wherever you went and drag you back home where you belong. I love you to the point of insanity. From the first moment I met you I knew you belonged with me.”
“I’m worried about losing you. I thought maybe you were having an affair when I saw the office a wreck.”
“Baby, I’m not going anywhere, and you’re the only one I’d risk destroying my work to fuck. Now how about we get cleaned up and I make breakfast. Then I’ll eat your pussy out while you load the dishwasher.”
“Sounds dangerous.”
“Fuck it. Let me just eat you out now.” He flips me onto my back and licks his way down my body, spreading me open and taking what he wants. I need more. My fingers thrust into his thick hair and I grip it as I rock my mound in his face.
“Yes, Tony. Take what’s only for you.” I come hard and nearly pass out on the bed when he slides back into me.
“I love you my Rosalyn. Don’t ever leave me.” There’s a plea in his harsh, dominant words.
“I won’t. Now use me and take what you need,” I pant out, gripping onto his strong biceps.
“I need to hear my name from your lips as you squeeze your juices all over me.” He rubs his thumb on my nub as he pounds into me until we both fall apart. I can forget about coffee. Sleep is all I want. I nestle into my husband and fall straight asleep.
“Wake up, sleeping beauty,” Tony whispers in my ear. I open my eyes and stare at his handsome face. He hasn’t shaved in a couple of days and I like it. Running my fingers over his scruffy jaw, I watch his eyes close and a groan come from him.
“Woman. We can’t stay in bed all day. I have to feed you.”
“I know. I just love that we get some time together. Even on the weekends you’re working like crazy.” I sit up and he backs up on his knees. “Wait, it’s Friday. Shouldn’t you be at the office?”
“I canceled everything to work this out. Nothing else matters to me if I don’t have you Rosalyn. You opened up my eyes to a life I only wished to have.”
