lid his hand up my shirt and freed them, I wouldn’t protest.

“Lizzie?”

I pull my eyes up his body. Aiden is staring at me like he wants to devour me. Just so he knows we’re on the same page, I arch my back, rubbing myself against him.

“You have no idea what it does to me when you say my name.”

“And you, Aiden, have no idea what it does to me when I can feel your cock pressed against my belly.”

His jaw clenches, eyes drifting shut as he pulls me in for another kiss. “You’re evil,” he whispers when we come up for air.

I reach for him, ready to show him how evil I can be, when he takes a step back. “Saturday.”

“You’re the evil one, Aiden.”

He groans.

I wink.

Boyfriend #22… Mr. Right or Mr. Right Now?

You guys, I have so much to tell you. I know you’re dying to know about boyfriend #22, but let’s rewind time and start with finding men in the real world, aka not swiping left to an online profile. My neighbor is definitely onto something. I only made it to the grocery store and the dog park, but let me tell you, there are men out there! Men without a wedding band, men who are single and happy and ready to date. And you can learn more by observing men in public than you’ll ever learn from an electronic profile. So, my advice is this: what do you have to lose? If you’re like me and you’ve been going on date after date, downloading every new dating app when it comes out, and you’re still single and hoping to find love, give up those dating apps and get out there. Get out into the real world and find your perfect guy.

Now, you’re probably wondering where boyfriend #22 came from. Everyone who reads my blog knows that I have a three-date rule before a guy is promoted to boyfriend status. But, ladies, this isn’t just any guy. This is the guy. The one who broke my heart four years ago—put your pitchforks away, it was a misunderstanding that I’ll tell you all about in another post—the guy who has seen me at my best and my absolute worst. He’s the one who buys me ice cream after every bad date and watches sappy chick flicks with me because he knows how much I love them. He’s my best friend, and now, after a long heart to heart and a few tears, he’s my boyfriend.

Yes, I’m scared he’ll hurt me again.

Yes, I’m worried that if something happens, I’ll lose my best friend.

Yes, he has a history of being Mr. Right Now.

Yes, I’m willing to take that risk.

Why? Because I love him. I’ve loved him for years, even if I tried to convince myself otherwise. And, let me tell you, I fought it—I fought him tooth and nail—ignoring him when he asked me for a chance, brushing him off when he told me that he’s the one because of his prior dating history and the whole broken heart thing, but he didn’t give up.

You probably have a million questions, and I’ll try to answer them all, but I’m serious, ladies, get out there. Step away from the computer, put your phone down, and open your eyes. Look around at the men in your life and, who knows, you just might find that Mr. Right is right around the corner.

I hate to cut this post short, and I promise to report more after our double date on Saturday, but right now, I need a hot shower. I’m exhausted and sore from ice skating, and with any luck, I’ll be able to get out of bed in the morning.

XOXO,

Liz
