I bring my lips down her jaw, kissing, licking, biting.

The intense need to devour her makes my touch rough. Fisting her hair, and yanking her head back, causes a hiss of pain, but she fucking loves it.

Her hips move, grinding on me. My cock throbs with the need to fuck her until she’s breathless. She’s sin and savior wrapped up in a delicious forbidden package.

I want her colored in my mark, soaked in my cum, whimpering beneath the firm hand of my spank.

Palming her tits, I squeeze, pinching the nipples between the pads of my forefinger and thumbs while scraping my teeth along the collar of her neck.

Our heavy breathing fills the room. The need is so strong, it’s intoxicating. I want to redden her ass with my palm until her release coats her thighs.

Nimble fingers fumble for the zipper of my slacks, but if I let her touch my cock, I’ll be buried up to the hilt within a heartbeat.

We can’t do this.

Pulling my lips away, I shake my head and push her down my body until she’s on her feet. She sways slightly, then rights herself.

A cold chill snakes up my spine, expanding through the room, coating her in my cruelty. This was a mistake.

Shit. What the hell was I thinking?

Her pouty, bruised lips open and close, but nothing comes out. Her tits are red from my roughness, and it speaks to the alpha male inside me.

Claim her.

Fuck her.

Make her mine.

Schooling my features, I grab her top and toss it at her, forcing the next words from my lips. “Get your shit together. You’re fired.”

Chapter Twenty-Eight

Alyssa

No, he can’t.

Cold air replaces the heat as he moves away from me, leaving me whimpering like a needy little girl.

Did he not enjoy my touch, our kiss, my body?

“You can’t fire me,” I choke out, rubbing at my tender throat.

“I can do what the fuck I want, little ballerina. You’re not right for my establishments and I’m sick of your disobedience.”

My mouth dislocates. He can’t be serious.

“I’ve been doing great at Vino’s, why are you such a bastard?” I vomit the words, a bad taste forming in my mouth. I can’t lose this damn job.

His eyes narrow, glaring at me. “Because I have to be. Now, get the hell out,” he barks, jerking his chin toward the door.

Hannah made me come here tonight. Had she known this would be the reaction it would cause?

I wasn’t wrong for his establishment. I could be what the men here expected: a little entertainment and a pretty face.

“If I’m not what you want in that way, then fine, but don’t take my job.”

I will the floor to open up and swallow me whole. I’ve never felt so rejected in my entire life. Tears threaten, a lump forming in the back of my throat.

A smirk kicks up the corner of his mouth. “It has nothing to do with my dick. It’s your job performance. Now, get your boyfriend Simon to take you home. I won’t tell you again.”

My heart skitters in my chest, darkness expanding out. “You’re an evil bastard, you know that, right?”

“Yes,” he roars. Picking up a chair from near the desk, he tosses it across the room like it weighs nothing.

It crashes into the wall, and I still my spine, not giving him the reaction he wants.

“It’s you,” he points in my direction, his tone sharp and demeaning, “who doesn’t know that.”

Scoffing, I wrap the leather corset around my torso. “You’re wrong. I do know, and I wanted you anyway.” I sling open the door and slam it behind me as I leave.

I move through the hall into the girls changing room. Tossing the corset, I search the shelf I left my clothes on and make quick work of getting changed.

Once I have my clothes on, I go back out to the club floor to find Simon. His brow creases as his concerned gaze scans my face and drops to my neck. “Are you okay?”

“Apparently I’m not good enough for Club S.” I swipe at my neck, hoping he doesn’t see marks there.

His hand rubs my shoulder. Dipping his knees so he’s eye level with me, he smiles, warm and affectionate.

“It’s probably for the best, Alyssa. You’re a dancer. If someone saw you working here, it could affect your status at Swan.”

I hadn’t thought about that. Could they really discriminate over where I worked? And does Leto know this? Did he fire me for my own protection?

No, he’s just an asshole.

“He fired me from Vino’s too.” My voice is rough, broken.

I sense him as soon as he appears from the door to my right, his gaze tracking me. “I have to go.” I reach up and give Simon a hug. “Don’t be a stranger, yeah?”

“Alyssa?” He sighs, but I’m already moving through the club, underdressed and out of place amongst the elite members.
