With that, I raise her hands to my lips and kiss them tenderly. When I look up, she’s staring at me with big brown eyes filled with emotion, and I can’t resist anymore. I lean forward to press a gentle kiss to that plush pout, savoring her sweet taste.
When we pull apart to take a breath, my body’s already hard, but Serenity looks up at me with those sweet, doe-like eyes of hers.
“Okay, Mr. Holt. You’ve got me convinced. I’d like to date you, too.”
I grin. “I knew you’d say yes. You’ve always been mine, Serenity, and this just makes things official,” I growl.
She giggles a bit.
“I’ve always been yours?” she repeats playfully. “How so?”
My gaze fills with fire as I take in that curvy form.
“All those times you came downstairs, wearing nothing but a tiny tank and sleep shorts with your curves on display. All those times you cooked breakfast, waggling your big bottom in front of the stove. It was all I could do not to bend you over the kitchen island and make you scream with pleasure.”
She giggles again, but this time it’s throaty.
“Then show me, Daddy. Make me yours, and brand me with your possession,” she breathes.
With that, I descend on the curvy girl, utterly ravenous for her taste. After all, I’ve had my eye on Serenity for over a year now, and finally, it’s my time to take.

* * *
It feels good not to hide. Over the last month, Julian and I have been going on dates, and not just dates that involve us sitting on the couch at his house. He takes me out to restaurants, we go to movies, and we’ve gone to Minneapolis to visit museums and other fun traditional events.
Of course, it wasn’t like this at first. In the beginning, we’d stay home together and cook before repairing to his bedroom for sexy shenanigans. But I guess neither of us wants to be house-bound, and so we’ve started going out. I hold Julian’s hand in public for everyone to see, and he presses hot kisses to my lips, even if there are elderly ladies passing by.
One such memory makes me grin. There was an old woman with purple hair sitting on a bus stop bench when Julian decided to give my ass a little squeeze. I giggled at the fond pinch but the old lady literally fell off her seat, she was so scandalized. Of course, we helped her up and she wasn’t injured or anything, but still, the entire scenario makes me laugh. Spending time with my boyfriend can be unpredictable, yet fun.
“What are you grinning about?” my friend, Faith, demands with a saucy smile. We’re co-workers at Harry’s Diner, and used to get up to lots of no good together. But now, Faith is married with two kids so she lives vicariously through my exploits.
“What? Nothing!”
The pretty brunette laughs. “Tell that to the silly look on your face.”
I make a face. “Okay, I might have been thinking about Julian.”
Faith squeals. “I knew it! You love him!”
I hush her, looking around. “Whoa, I wouldn’t go that far. It’s only been a month.”
Faith merely sighs. “Hey, that’s what I thought about Hunter, and now look at us.”
She motions to her growing belly. The two of them already have two kids, and they’re just a few months away from meeting their third. To be honest, her marriage was a little taboo because her husband is her mom’s ex-husband. How’s that for crazy?
But clearly, they make it work and now Faith has a big tummy to prove how much her husband loves her. Heck, if Faith can make it work given all the obstacles she’s faced with her hubby, then there’s surely hope for Julian and me.
“Tell me everything,” my friend grins, leaning over the counter. “Don’t leave anything out.”
I smile. “It’s great with Julian. We met because I accidentally slept with him, so I want to take things slow so we don’t make a mistake.”
Faith squeals again and hugs me. “Girlfriend, it doesn’t matter how you met! Besides, I’m so happy for you. You were always miserable with Stewie, and I hated seeing you like that. No man is worth that.”
I frown. “I wasn’t miserable. It wasn’t that bad, at least I don’t think so.”
But Faith shakes her head, tsk-ing.
“Yes, it was that bad. You were always on edge when you were with him, and honestly, I feel like you dreaded hanging out with Stewie sometimes. In fact, the happiest I saw you was after you’d broken up.”
My eyebrows furrow.
“You think?”
She nods vigorously, brown curls bouncing.
“Yeah, definitely. You’re smiling way more without Stewie trailing ten feet behind you, and honestly, now that you’re dating Julian, you laugh all the time. I like this version of you.”
I can’t help but giggle happily. “Thanks, Faith. That means a lot to me. I guess Julian brings out the best in me.”
