“Shut up and let me carry my soon-to-be wife to our bath.”

“Fine. Just so you know I could have walked here perfectly well on my own.”

He chuckled. “I would never assume such a ridiculous thing.”

They had a huge garden tub in their new condo, large enough for four people to fit comfortably, so they both had plenty of room when they had downtime like this.

He helped Victoria out of her gown and eased her into the warm water, and then he disrobed and climbed in behind her. He loved how soft she felt naked against him, right where she belonged.

He poured some of her favorite floral bath soap in a sponge and worked on her back and shoulders. She moaned and wiggled against him and he felt his cock reacting to her luscious movements.

“You little minx, keep that up, and I can’t guarantee I won’t take that squirming body of yours.”

“Promises, promises,” she taunted.

He wasn’t going to let her get away with that. All pretenses of washing her back flew out the window, and he turned her chin up until he could capture her soft mouth with his. She always tasted so good and ready for him. He loved that she would be his not long after their little boy arrived.

Andrei was used to winning in his professional life, but when he found Victoria, he far outdid anything he could have achieved on his own. He couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with both of them and his two girls. He had a complete family now, and that was better than any case he could have ever won.

Epilogue II

Victoria

“Andrei, have you seen my lip gloss? My whole drawer is empty?”

“No, babe.” Andrei came in from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, looking good enough to eat. “I don’t really pay attention to your lip gloss.”

“I have fifty gazillion things of flavored lip gloss, but I have no idea where all of it is.” I showed Andrei the empty drawer. “Where on earth could it be?”

Just then, Benjamin walked into the room.

“What did you do to yourself?” Victoria screeched.

His cheeks were covered in various shades of pink and icy brown lip gloss.

“I’m a football player, Daddy! Look at me!” In his arms, he held the small football that his grandfather had given him for his birthday. He ran to his father and tried to tackle him. He was not successful, partially because he was about the height of his father’s knee. His lack of success wasn’t related to a lack of effort though. He strained against his father’s leg, clearly trying to push him over.

Instead of obliging his son and falling over, Andrei scooped him up. “What have you done to your face?”

“I used Mommy’s paint to paint my face just like them.”

“It’s not lip gloss,” Andrei said, clearly trying not to laugh. “It’s black grease.”

“Ew,” Victoria squeaked. “Lip gloss is bad enough.” She walked over to Andrei and pulled their son into her arms. “I need to wash you off.” She walked past Andrei and into the bathroom. She wet a towel and gently wiped the lip gloss off of Benjamin’s face. She kissed his damp but clean cheek when she was done.

“Next time you want to be a football player, skip the war paint, okay?”

Instead of agreeing, Benjamin simply wiggled out of his mother’s arms, landed on the tile floor, and headed for the bathroom door.

Andrei must have taken advantage of their son staying still for 30 seconds to put on some pants. He was fully dressed when Victoria came out of the bathroom. Benjamin was already running at full speed past his father and towards the stairs.

“Benjamin!” Victoria shouted. “Stop!”

Andrei caught the back of Benjamin’s shirt in the nick of time, because if he’d been a fraction of a second slower, their kid would’ve taken a tumble down the stairs.

“I’ve told you a million times that we need another baby gate up here,” Victoria said, her heart still going crazy.

“I’ll get it tomorrow.” Andrei pulled Benjamin close and kissed the top of his head. Victoria put her arms around the two of them, smelling the sweet scent of her baby’s head and the warm musk of her husband.
