“I did. She loved it,” Cord said as he came into the kitchen. He was in a pair of jeans and button up, his feet bare, his hair damp.

Kady stiffened, but a hand on her back kept her in place.

“Did you love it, baby?” I asked, finding the little ridge of her g-spot and curling my fingers over it.

“Yes!” she cried, her head dropping down so her forehead rested on her arms.

“I love seeing that plug in you, sweetness.”

“She’s been a good girl and it’s time for her to come,” I said.

I heard a car pull up, the tires loud on the crushed rock driveway, and Kady’s head popped up.

“That’s Archer. He texted and said he was stopping by,” Cord said.

I knew Kady was close to coming. I wouldn’t deny her release because of Archer’s arrival. Her pussy wept all over my fingers. Interesting. I had to wonder if being seen made her hot. Not that I was going to find out, but I could make her think so. Test my theory.

I leaned in close, murmured, “Come for me, baby. Come nice and hard or Cord’s going to let Archer in and he’ll see you like this. Bent over, fucking my fingers with a pretty jewel showing off your ass.”

She groaned, clenched down on my fingers.

Cord frowned, but I angled my head at her. His eyes flared in realization.

“Don’t be too loud, sweetness, or he might hear you when he comes to the door.”

She whimpered and I curled my fingers more, found her clit all hard and swollen and instead of being gentle, I pinched. Not too hard, but enough. She seemed to like rough and she needed to come.

She didn’t disappoint, her inner walls milking my fingers as a low keening wail came from her lips.

Cord pressed his palm against his cock as we watched our girl get off.

She slumped against the counter when she was done, and I pulled my fingers free, went to the sink to wash up as Cord stroked her back. “Good girl,” he crooned. “You come for us so beautifully.”

The doorbell rang and I dried my hands on a dishtowel, dropped it on the counter and went to let the sheriff in.

My hard-on couldn’t be helped, but I knew the topic of conversation would kill my need pretty quick.

Glancing over my shoulder, I saw Cord wrap an arm around Kady, brush her hair back from her face. I’d give them a minute for Kady to not look quite so finger fucked, but that was going to be pretty difficult. Male virility flooded me at how easily I could make her that way.

I let Archer in. While he didn’t wear a uniform, he had one of those Batman-type utility belts with handcuffs, a gun and a walkie-talkie attached. “Long night,” I said. “Let me get you some coffee.”

“Thanks.” He took his hat off, followed me toward the kitchen. Seeing Cord and Kady, he stopped on the great room side of the breakfast bar. “Morning. Kady, we didn’t get a chance for introductions last night. I’m Archer, Barlow County sheriff.”

Kady offered him a quick hello from the opposite side of the kitchen’s peninsula, Cord behind her. He had a hand on the counter beside her, pinning her in. I passed Archer a mug of black coffee and he took a seat at one of the high stools.

“It’s nice to meet you.”

Archer was born and raised in Barlow. He’d been the year behind Cord and me in school, went to the state college and came right home when done. While I knew he wasn’t a monk, I rarely saw him with a woman. I had seen him enough with Sutton to know they shared the same…proclivities, and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they took a woman together. It mattered to me none as long as Kady wasn’t that woman. Based on the way he stared at her with a professional intensity, I wasn’t too concerned. We’d made it pretty damned obvious where we stood with her.

Archer had no connection to Steele Ranch, other than the property being within the area his job served. He’d been to the property before, specifically when Aiden Steele’s body was found and he’d had to take it to the morgue.

“Quite an introduction to our little part of the world. I heard you’re from Philadelphia.”

“That’s right,” Kady replied.

While she only wore my shirt, the dark plaid hid the shape of her bare breasts well. With Archer sitting, he couldn’t see that she wasn’t wearing anything else. Not that he probably didn’t know it.

“You’ve only been here a few days.”
