She squirmed, feeling herself getting wet. The room was pleasantly cool, but she was so hot, she felt like she was going to burst into flames. She had one hand up Kes’s shirt, stroking the muscles of his belly and chest, and one fondling Rami’s face. Her fingers slid on Kes’s damp skin, and a trickle of sweat ran down Rami’s cheek. She licked it away, savoring the salty taste, then gasped as Kes’s hot tongue traced its way along the nape of her neck.
“Let’s get out of these clothes,” Rami said. His voice was hoarse.
Both men turned to her. Mirel sat still as they stripped her, as reverently as if she was a queen and as eagerly as if they couldn’t wait to touch every inch of her. She shivered as their hands brushed over her bare skin. And then she was naked, her nipples hard from arousal and wet heat gathering between her thighs. Rami bent his head to her breasts, licking and sucking at her nipples as if they were the sweetest thing he had ever tasted, and Kes pushed her thighs apart and laid his mouth between them.
Mirel lay shuddering and gasping, so overcome with pleasure that she could barely perceive anything else. But she made herself keep her eyes open, so she could see Kes and Rami lavishing the same attention on each other’s bodies. Then all three of them were tangled on the bed together, and she could barely tell where she ended and they began. Rami pushed inside her, slowly and gently so she felt only stretching, no pain. He began to move inside her as Kes thrust into him and all three of them caressed and kissed.
Pleasure built and built within Mirel, more intense than anything she had ever felt or even imagined before. She could tell that Rami and Kes were also nearing their own peaks, as they gasped and thrust harder. Kes grabbed a handful of Rami’s hair, and Mirel felt her nails scratch down someone’s back, she wasn’t sure whose. And then she lost track of what was happening, and only knew what she felt.
At the moment of climax, Mirel experienced a burst of ecstasy like nothing she had ever felt before. And then, suddenly, she was no longer alone inside her own body and mind. She could feel both Kes and Rami, not only as physical presences, but as souls. She could sense their emotions, their sensations, their personalities. And she knew that they could sense hers.
I’m not alone, she thought. I’ll never be alone again.
We’re bonded now. Kes didn’t speak aloud, but he didn’t need to. The ability to speak mind-to-mind will fade away soon, but the mate bond will remain. Forever.
Mirel felt an immense wonder and joy, and knew that those feelings came from Rami and Kes as well as herself, reverberating between the three of them until the sheer intensity was almost too much to bear.
Now to work, Kes said. Mirel could feel his determination and the trace of uncertainty beneath it, as well as Rami’s fear and courage. She sent them both her faith in them.
Through Kes’s senses, she experienced his dragon’s magic as he extended it into Rami’s body, seeking for what was wrong and how it could be repaired. She didn’t see it, exactly, she felt it. She knew it. And she experienced Kes’s relief when he found the hole in Rami’s heart. She felt him examine her own healthy heart for comparison, then encourage Rami’s heart to strengthen and to close the hole.
All three of them held their breath in an agony of anticipation, waiting to see if it would work. At first none of them could tell. His heart was a living, beating organ, and its own movements made it hard to see—hard to feel. Then they felt new muscle begin to grow, shoring up weak places, then extending over the hole. At first it was just a fragile sheet, then a thicker one, and then none of them could even tell the difference between the rest of his heart and the place where the deadly flaw had been. The healing was complete.
Mirel was abruptly back in her own body, sprawled on the bed in between the two men, suddenly very aware of the texture of the coverlet and the air, and of Rami and Kes’s skin. Kes was sweating and looked tired but triumphant.
Rami’s hand went to his chest in what looked like a habitual gesture, then dropped away. “You did it.”
Kes, still breathing hard, just nodded.
“You did it!” Mirel exclaimed.
Kes nodded again, catching his breath, and this time he smiled.
Though she could no longer hear the others’ thoughts, Mirel could feel through the bond that Rami wasn’t the only one who had been healed, and that even he had been healed in a way that went beyond his physical heart. Thanks to the bond between the three of them, Rami finally had hope, Kes was no longer lonely, and Mirel had stopped believing that she was inferior.
“I never planned for the future,” Rami said softly. “I didn’t believe that I had one. But now that I have a rest of my life, I don’t know what to do with it.”
“I don’t either,” said Mirel. “I thought my future was barley.”
Kes pulled them both closer in. “You’ll figure it out, both of you. Take your time. You have plenty of that, now.”
Mirel snuggled into the loving warmth of her mates. Whatever their future held, all three of them would discover it together.

Never Get Between a Dragon and his Treasure
Juno Blake
The dragon’s gaze is like lightning on my skin.
I grab hold of an outcrop of rock on the seafloor and hold myself steady against the push-pull of the waves. Oh God no.
This can’t be happening, not now, but there’s no mistaking what I’m feeling. It’s like a live wire being drawn inch by inch across my skin. Excruciating. Irresistible.
