“I can’t around you,” he murmurs, moving his fingers into my panties. “Now be a good girl and spread your legs for me.”
“Mm…Dr. Wallen. You’re so demanding.” Arching my back, I part my thighs. He rubs my wetness up my slit, then circles my clit.
“I can feel how much you like it too,” he muses. “I want you tied to the bed so I can devour every inch of you…” He sucks on my neck, causing me to shiver. “And when you’re close to coming, I’ll pull out and tease your sensitive cunt with my tongue.”
“Oh my God.”
Before Connor can do just that, Olivia bursts through the bedroom door, and we immediately cover ourselves.
“It’s my birthday!” she shouts, leaping onto the bed.
“Happy Birthday, sweetheart.” Connor hugs her as she makes her way between us.
“Happy Birthday, Livvi Bug.” I pull her into me and kiss her head. “Who said you could turn seven already?”
“Me!” she squeals. “Is it time for my party yet?”
“Olivia, we haven’t even had breakfast,” Connor says.
“It’s this afternoon,” I remind her.
“I can’t wait!” She smiles wide, and I’m just as excited as she is.
“Me too! Why don’t you get dressed, and we’ll meet you in the kitchen?” I offer, needing just five more minutes alone with Connor.
“Okay! I want pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs—the runny kind so I can dip my toast—and orange juice!” She hops down and skips toward the door.
“You got it,” Connor confirms, just as eager as I am to finish what he started. “I’ll be there as soon as I’m out of the shower.”
“Okay, Daddy.”
When she leaves, I furrow my brows and turn to him. “Since when do you shower before breakfast?”
“Since right now. I have blue balls and need to fuck you.” He grabs my hand, pulling me up with him, then leads me to the master bathroom. This time he makes sure the door is locked.
“You have less than ten minutes before she starts knocking,” I taunt as he removes my clothes, then his boxers.
Connor turns on the water. “Then you better get your sweet ass in there and bend over.”
His commanding tone makes my nipples harden. “Alright, don’t forget the butt plug this time.”
The way his face lights up like a kid’s on Christmas makes me chuckle. As a joke, I bought one after he mentioned it during our first time together, and it turns out, I really enjoy it.
Sneaking around isn’t new, especially since Olivia’s here permanently. We’ve gotten creative since there are nights she wakes up from bad dreams and wants to sleep in our bed. Other times, we’re too exhausted from work that we pass out before ten. Moving in has allowed us to be together more often, but it hasn’t been completely effortless. Adjusting to living with a boyfriend was already new territory but becoming a little girl’s parental figure was entirely foreign. Most of the time, it’s picture-perfect, but she still acts out or tests her limits. She misses her mother a lot, which was expected, and I try my best to support her. It doesn’t help that Vivian only FaceTimes her once a week, if she remembers. Connor invited Vivian to visit for Olivia’s sake, but she’s never shown. I can’t imagine abandoning my child or even someone else’s, but it’s not my place to understand. All I can do is be here for Olivia and show her the love and compassion she deserves.
After our shower, we dress and meet Olivia in the kitchen. She’s waiting with her tablet and talks nonstop about her party as we cook.
“I can’t wait to ride! It’s all I want to do!” she exclaims. After the loss of Spirit, I introduced her to Jasmine, a quarter horse who’s as gentle as can be. On the weekends we don’t have a lot of emergency calls, I like to take her to the ranch and ride the trails. This time, though, will be extra special, and I can’t wait to see the look on Olivia’s face.
“Is it time yet?” Olivia bounces on her feet once the mess is cleaned. She knows we’re going early to set up and decorate with Kenzie and Ethan’s help. My family absolutely adores Olivia, and they’ve accepted her and Connor into our family with open arms.
“Yes, sweetie. We can go now.” Connor grins as we head to the truck. Olivia’s wearing her favorite cowboy boots and hat with a pink dress, which fits her spunky personality.
When we arrive at the B&B, the bouncy house is already set up on the side. All of her friends from school were invited, so we’re expecting at least twenty kids. Aunt Kiera and Uncle Jackson are helping with the horse rides to make sure the kids are safe in the corral.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallen show up at the same time and rush to give Olivia a hug.
