“Auntie Em, Auntie Em!” Josey opens my door for me. Mack is on the other side of my Jeep, climbing in to sit in the passenger seat.

“Can we go get ice cream, Auntie Em?” I don’t even get a hello, but it makes me laugh just the same.

“Have y'all checked out the fridge and freezer already?” I ask him. My arm goes around Josey, pulling her in for a hug. The whole family can get into my house using the keyless entry pin pad on the front door.

“Yes, and it’s not looking good,” Josey responds for Mack.

“Well, let me get changed, and then we’ll head to the grocery store.” I’ve spoiled them. I know I have because they live for homemade pizza and banana splits.

“Fine, but don’t talk to Dad forever, puhlease,” Mack pleads with over-exaggeration.

“You act like your dad and I talk for hours on end. I bet he couldn’t wait to bring you over so he can get a few hours of quiet time,” I joke with them.

“Hey, sister.” Jace walks over to us.

“Hey, brother bear. Where are you off to looking so snazzy?” He’s not all that dressed up, a nice pair of shorts and a collared shirt but, you know, it’s fun to mess with him.

“Going to take Misty out for dinner. We told the kids they could stay home, but they insisted on coming over. I hope you don’t mind.” As if he doesn’t know the answer to that already.

“Not a problem. You want me to take them to school tomorrow? I mean, it’s already getting late in the afternoon. We still have to grocery shop and cook, plus you and Misty can have a night off.” I wiggle my eyebrows. Jace laughs, and the kids are making gagging gestures.

“As long as you don’t mind. Come give me a hug, you knuckleheads.” We all climb out of my Jeep, I grab my bag, and then we are headed into the house.

“Never. Oh my gosh, you should have seen the house I just did a showing for, and the guy put in an offer.” The smile Jace has plastered on his face lets me know my eyes are probably as big as saucers, like I used to do as a child.

“Congrats. You’ll have to tell me all about it tomorrow. I’ve got a hot date. Thanks, sis.” He makes his rounds giving his kids a hug, and then giving me one.

“Anytime. You know I love these knuckleheads,” I joke with him. They really are amazing children. He and Misty have down a great job raising them.

“I know you do.”

“Now, get out of here. I’m assuming they packed clothes? Please tell me they did. I am not prepared for a night at the mall,” I practically beg.

“They packed. You’re safe from the big bad mall.” Shopping comes naturally to me. I love it like most women do, but not with two kids. Nope. No way, no how. Last time we went, we were there for hours, literally from open to close.

“I could kiss the sidewalk. Alright, crew, into the house. We have a fish to feed, clothes to change, and food to get!” I clap my hands. The kids make their way inside while I wave at my brother. This is just the distraction I need from thoughts of Saint.

Saint

“Hello,” I answer the phone, not looking at who’s calling me, my mind on getting the truck’s oil changed while waiting to hear from Emerson.

“Hey, Saint?” I hear the question. Little does she know it was her name I was moaning while lying in bed last night, naked, fisting my cock and imagining it was her hands on my length. Fuck, not only that. My mind ran wild of her naked between my thighs, her hair down, lips plump from sucking my cock, and when she decided to take her mouth away from my length, Emerson used both hands, gliding up and down until I came all over her tits. Too bad it was only a dream and instead I was cleaning up my stomach, wishing like hell my cum was sprayed across her body.

“Emerson,” I grunt.

“Is this a bad time?” she asks. I can hear kids in the background. I pull my phone away, looking at the time. It’s early, but most kids are in school at this time.

“Maybe I should be asking you that.” Emerson hushes the kids in the background.

“Sorry, I’m trying to get my niece and nephew out the door, but they’re bickering over who gets shotgun this morning. I just wanted to see what time we could meet today. The owners accepted your offer, which means more paperwork. They also said as long as the funding goes through, they’d be ready to go to closing as early as next week.” I hold my laughter back, not at the house but at that small woman trying to wrangle two kids who aren’t even hers, but the minute she asked them to quiet down, they did exactly that.
