I love her. I swear to fucking God, I love this girl.

I need her already. I’ll do this to her every day, make her scream for me, and I already know survival without her is impossible.

She cums hard, twisting and humping me, as I do the same to the fucking duvet. Her orgasm takes her over and she’s moaning and yelping words that sound like she’s speaking in tongues. Her pussy squeezes around my finger and I have no clue how my cock will fit into her tight hole, but I know there’s no possibility that it won’t happen.

Her thighs slap against my ears as her back arches, then she collapses onto the bed, panting, and her hands finally release my hair, flying up and over her head onto the pillows.

This moment in time is utter perfection. I soak it in, giving the cleft of her flesh where her thighs meet her hips soft kisses as I look up and watch her chest rise and fall, her eyes fluttering and the whites finally switch places with her irises as she gives me a hazy look from above.

I rise up, reaching down and jacking myself off for a few strokes as I watch her watch me. I release, covering her body with mine, and the feel of her beneath me draws a protectiveness to the surface I’ve only known in a different way with Linnie.

I’d not only kill for Alice, I’d die for her.

“I’m going to fuck you, my Cherry. I have to, you know that, don’t you?”

She gives me an unfocused look but she nods. “I need you too.”

“Good girl.” I brush my swollen head to her opening, feeling the hot pulse of her cunt as I tense, ready to plunge forward, knowing this is going to be painful for her.

“Kiss me,” she whispers, and I bring my lips to hers, letting her taste herself on me, and I grab the back of her neck as the tip of my cock kisses her cherry and we both hold our breath.

Just as my mind goes blank, my entire focus on the connection of her sweet cunt, ready to give its all to me, there’s a sound from the door.

A knock. The click of the knob.

I freeze, Alice’s head turns on the pillow toward the noise.

“Alice?” Linnie’s little voice comes through. “Are you in there? Why is the door locked? Are you hurt? I looked in your room, but I keep hearing weird noises and I’m scared…”

Fuck.

Alice

“What do you want? Waffles, French toast…” I walk Linnie down the massive staircase toward the kitchen, my face still flushed as I think of Roan hiding in the closet as I threw on my clothes and answered his bedroom door.

He’s going to come down the back stairs while I have her in the kitchen and pretend he’s just arrived home. The ache between my legs is relentless, knowing how close we were to doing the deed and then the hammer came down.

I wonder if it’s for the best. If I just got lost in this opulent world, seeing how it could be to live this way and sprinkle that fairytale dream with a little lust, and I let things get out of hand.

“I’ll just have coffee,” she says, dead stop, and I stand at the bottom of the stairs and look down at her wise, wide eyes.

“Coffee?”

“Yes, Alice. Coffee. Black.”

I lead us toward the kitchen while I think of how to respond, the taste of my sex still lingering in my mouth from Roan’s kiss.

I flip on the overhead lights in the kitchen and then lift Linnie up onto a stool at the massive marble-covered island.

“Are you sure you’re allowed to have coffee?”

She opens her mouth to answer, but Roan’s voice answers for her.

“She is not allowed to have coffee.” He gives me a knowing half-smile as he steps into the kitchen from the back hallway. He’s even put on his suit jacket and overcoat, looking like he’s just come in from outside.

“Uncle Roan!” Linnie’s eyes light up before she does a quick turn about and starts using sign language again.

Roan gives her a patient but exasperated look. “Linnie, you know I don’t understand you when you sign.”

“She said, you’re not supposed to be back until later and it’s five AM, everyone drinks coffee at five AM.” I raise my eyebrows on a little shrug, running my hand down her soft hair. “She has a point.”

Roan shakes his head and takes off his coat, tossing it over the back of a chair that flanks a long, rugged farmhouse table, surrounded by twelve hand-carved chairs. “Well, I have a little something that might make up for the lack of coffee.”

He reaches back into his coat pocket and when he brings his hand back out there’s a charm bracelet dangling from his fingers. It looks like real gold, and there are three charms already attached: a bird; a heart with a keyhole and a book; each with a precious gemstone in the center. I can’t even imagine how much it must have cost, and can’t help the way my mind jumps to the difference that kind of money would have made in someone else’s life, but while Linnie’s eyes light up I know she wouldn’t have been any less pleased with plastic. At four years old, she doesn’t care, but the love I see in Roan’s face can’t be denied.
