As I’m ordering a replacement, the thought occurs to me that Tony is my secret weapon. She’s a woman who loves women. Surely, she’d be able to tell me the exact way to win MJ over. I turn to her with a plate of steaming fried dough and a big smile. “Tony, I’ll buy you that BMW bike you’ve been lusting over if you do one thing for me.”

“I’m going to hate this, aren’t I?” Tony eyes me warily.

“Yup.” I grin. This is good. No, this is better than good. This is perfect.

Chapter 7

Mj

“Really?” Luna asks. Her shocked exclamation is echoed by the staff milling around the kitchen. I glance up from the scallops in my pan. A bunch of the servers are waiting for me to be done. They get to try each special so they can better describe it to their tables. They’re anxious to start the main course tasting and while they don’t ask, I can feel the tension. I should be annoyed but how can I get mad when someone is excited to taste one of my dishes?

“Yeah, really.” I give them all a glare.

Everyone scurries back to work or at least pretends that’s what they’re doing. I have Luna on the Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen. My phone is always paired to it when I’m here. I might not own the Golden Spoon but the kitchen is mine.

“I’ll wear whatever you pick out.” I don’t know how she doesn’t know I am putty in her hand. I would wear a paper bag if that girl asked me to.

She’s been calling and texting me all day with random questions regarding her wedding. I’m glad she is able to pull everything together with so little time. She had Maddox’s bank account to thank for that. There isn’t much money can’t buy. When she asked me to walk her down the aisle, I had to mute the phone for a second because I got choked up. It took everything in me to not cry, but I knew if I cried that she’d get upset too. Her excitement has been palpable all day and I’m not going to let it decline because of me.

“Even if the dress is pink?” There’s a note of teasing hesitation in her voice. She acts like the dress color she’s suggesting is going to surprise me.

“It better be pink or I’ll die of shock.”

She bursts into laughter. “Okay, perfect. I’ll text you pictures. Love you.”

I barely get my own, “I love you too,” out before she ends the call. This is how most of them have gone today. I’m sure she’ll be calling back soon with another question. I want to make sure I am there each and every moment she needs me. This is going to be one of the most important days in her life.

“A pink dress?” Brian asks from beside me. He’s been my head sous chef for a few years now. When I jump from one restaurant to another he comes with me.

“Could you have told her no?” I raise an eyebrow at my friend. Luna is hard not to love. Her happiness is infectious at times. I can have some of the worst days and come home to her and feel better only because I’m around her. I won’t have that anymore. That thought makes my chest ache so I quickly focus on something else. I do have Cullen though. For now at least.

“No,” he says with a laugh before handing me another plate. I’ll need to make at least five orders for there to be enough for everyone to get a bite. I don’t need them fighting over the food. People end up stabbed with forks over that shit. I get back to plating tonight’s special. When I’m finished I set one aside. I make sure it’s dressed perfectly and I snap a photo to put on social media.

Once that posts, I grab Brian and do a quick Instagram Story. We are both acting like idiots. The story begins with him picking up a scallop and feeding it to me. You hear me moan when the taste hits my tongue. Brian laughs as he shoves the rest of the scallop in his mouth.

“God, woman, you are so talented. That may have been the best thing I’ve ever eaten.”

I pick up another scallop, taking a bite. I know I can cook but tonight’s special tastes different. Everything I’ve made today has. At first I couldn’t figure out what I’d done differently until Cullen came to mind. Every time thoughts of him float into my mind a low heat starts to stir in my belly. Who am I kidding? He’s been in the forefront of my mind all day. It’s not normal to be turned on this much.

The orgasms were so amazing. I didn’t know I could come that hard. He could easily be addictive if I let him. His hard body pleasured me in ways that I never thought possible. He feasted on my pussy like it was his last meal. It can’t be normal for me to get this worked up about sex but it was like he switched something on inside of me. I try and push my arousal away. It’s going to be a long night if I keep reminiscing about Cullen’s cock.
