“You kinda came off as a bit of a sleaze last night and it raised my haunches. I am Lorenza LaBelle and I love being her. I’m saving for college, that’s why I’m working two jobs. It looks like fun here so I’ll manage the two together. It’s not like I have anything better to do with my time at the moment.”

“Well, again, I’m sorry for how I came across. Now I need to show you a room we have here, a new development. I need to reassure you about something.”

She followed me to the movie theater. I opened the doors, and I watched as her eyes widened and her shoulders tensed.

“It’s a movie theater, showing GoDown films, but now I know you’re Lorenza, I can promise you that your films won’t be shown here. I’ll make sure they’re kept away.”

“Thank you.” She said. “I really want these two aspects of my life keeping separate.” She stared into the room, at the different seating arrangements. There were typical movie theater style seats, couches and a row of different sized beds at the back. “You’ve thought of everything it would appear.” She smiled.

“I’ve tried. It took a lot of focus groups and hard work but I think it’s getting there.”

She looked around. “So can you buy the movie afterwards?”

“Yes, all the films are in reception and available for purchase.”

She shook her head. “By that time they’ll have gone cold on the idea. You have someone in the room serving drinks right? Why not get someone to stand like they do at the movies selling popcorn and ice cream, but instead they could sell your sex toys and whatever movie is showing?”

“That’s a fantastic idea. I’ll get my team straight onto it. Thank you.” I told her and she beamed at me.

“You’re welcome. It’s nice to have someone who wants to listen to what I have to say.” She looked away, and I took the hint not to probe any further.

After that I showed her the rooms and the stage. “Wow, I worried what people might think if they saw my movie and yet they get the chance basically to act out their own.”

“Fuck, that’s genius.” I told her. “Why didn’t I think of that before?”

“What?” Her expression was startled.

“When they take to the stage, we could offer an option of them having themselves filmed. Then it could be edited and sent on to them. Obviously they’d have to sign some legal paperwork that it was for their personal use and that we would not be distributing it. I think that could prove really popular.” I turned to her. “You’re like my lucky charm tonight.”

She laughed.

I realized that I loved to see her laugh. It lit up her whole face. I might have gone so far as to ask her on a date were it not for the fact that I had a new rule to not date staff. Plus I’d told H and Eli I wanted someone who would let me own their pussy and she currently shared hers with an audience of thousands. It didn’t bother me, I didn’t exactly have a traditional past with all my club threesomes, but I needed someone who fit the bill of what I’d promised I would find. The dating agency idea was becoming more of a winner by the minute.

We finished the tour, and she thanked me.

“Not a problem. Thank you for the ideas and thank you for showing the rest of the new staff around. Good luck with everything.” I told her. “I rarely come to the movie sets so don’t feel on your guard looking out for me all the time.”

She smiled again and tilted her hip as her mouth quirked into a smirk. “Boss, I couldn’t give a damn. I enjoy sex and I enjoy being watched. You want to come see, you do that. I’ll take a bet that you’d be more embarrassed than I would.”

“That sounds like a challenge, Miss Jenkins?”

She shook her head. “Not at all, I’m just saying that we’re both business people and if you come to the set, you’ll just see me doing my job. One I’m not embarrassed to be doing.”

I sighed. “Lori, I’m sorry, again. I didn’t mean it that way. Honestly, I was trying to be helpful and reassuring

.”

She touched my arm. “And that’s kind, but I don’t need it. Just be yourself.”

“Okay, so being myself, I wondered if you’d like to come out on a date with me sometime?” What the fuck? Where did that just come from? Jerk brain. Jerk mouth. Rules, Aidan, rules!

“I’m sorry.” She bit her lip and paused. “I’m a lesbian. You’d be wasting your time with me.” She finally said.

My jaw dropped. “But-”

“But I have sex with men? Yes. I’m an actress, remember? And a fucking good one. Now if you don’t mind we’re really busy at the bar, could I get back to work, Boss?”

I faltered. “Yes, God, of course. Listen, before you go. Do you think you could help me sometime? This is awkward but I don’t have any female friends and seeing as you’re off limits, you’d be perfect for the role. I need some help in getting a nice woman. I’ll tell you all about it when we’re less busy. Seriously, I promise I’m not being a sleaze again.”
