She couldn’t argue, because it was what she wanted as well. “All right. This weekend.”
Leaning in, he kissed her, deep and hard. “Now that, is something worth celebrating.”

The club still had the power to intimidate her, but she loved it all the same. The atmosphere. The people. It didn’t matter if she was playing or not. Just sitting at Gray’s feet, his hand on her head, massaging lightly as she watched everyone made her feel more at peace.
She’d finally found that sense of belonging.
She’d never really felt as though she belonged anywhere. After Brax’s death, her home hadn’t been hers anymore. When she’d stayed with her uncle and cousins, she’d always known she’d have to leave again. She’d hoped the FBI would give her a sense of belonging. Of being a part of a team. Being valued and appreciated. Instead, her so-called teammates seemed to resent her, and she’d felt lonelier than ever before.
But here, she felt at home. People accepted her. Even cared about her. They stopped to talk to Gray and would smile or talk to her—with his permission of course. Some of the other subs were welcoming and friendly. Cristina, one of the more outgoing subs who worked as a waitress at The Twisted Thorn, had organised what she was calling the subs big day out, two weeks from now, and she’d been invited.
At first, she’d thought the other woman was just being polite, but when she’d practically begged her to go, she’d given in and said yes. Now, she was really looking forward to it.
She had a place where she felt accepted, new friends, a great job. And Gray. Three weeks ago, she’d given up her apartment and moved in with him. Her life had changed so drastically in these last few months she found it hard to believe it was really true.
Sometimes when she woke up she thought she was back in her old apartment. Alone once more. Then Gray would roll over and cuddle her, murmuring a sleepy good morning before showing her how good a morning could really be.
The man was insatiable. Not that she was complaining.
Gray leaned in and kissed the top of her head. “Ready to go home, baby?”
She nodded, feeling pleasantly relaxed from their earlier rope play. Her butt was still a little tender from the spanking Gray had given her while she was bound, but the sex afterwards had certainly made up for that.
“Yes, Sir,” she replied, looking up at him with a smile.
He stood and reached down, helping her up then holding her as she swayed slightly. The feel of his arm around her waist, his hard body next to hers, had her melting against him.
Gray led the way back to the changing rooms. “Fifteen minutes and I’ll meet you out here.”
“Yes, Sir,” she said quickly, remembering a few weeks back when she’d finished getting changed before him and wandered out to his car alone. The spanking he’d given her in the backseat had ensured she wouldn’t do that again any time soon.

Gray groaned in frustration when his cell phone started ringing as soon as they got in his car. He’d had plans to get Lacey home, push her up against a wall and fuck her into exhaustion. Damn, he was a lucky man to have her in his life. She was everything he’d dreamt of. Kind, caring, and smart. Submissive in the bedroom and strong everywhere else. And she was totally his.
His phone went to voicemail as he started the car. Then it started up again.
“You better get it,” Lacey told him. “What if it’s an emergency?”
She knew this ringtone by now. A few weeks ago, he’d programmed a unique tone for his mother so he could avoid her calls when he wanted to. Unfortunately, the only way to truly avoid her calls was to change numbers and not tell her.
He clicked accept, and his mother’s voice came through the car speakers.
“Gray? Gray, she’s gone missing.”
“I’m sure she’s fine, mother. You know Rory isn’t very good at answering anyone’s phone calls.”
“You think I’m being paranoid but I’m not. Her friend called me, you know, the one with the ring in her nose. I don’t know why she thinks that’s attractive.”
“Do you mean Nicole?”
Gray slowed down and pulled off the road with a frown. “Nicole called you?”
“Yes, she called me.”
“Why?”
