The two women weaved their way back to where their Dom’s were sitting. Only Jake was now sitting where Brand had been and Madison was sitting on the floor between them.
Laken came to a sudden stop, causing Tarin to nearly fall into her as Madison leaned toward Duncan, placing her hand on his knee.
She couldn’t make out what he said to the other woman, but the scowl on his face spoke volumes, as did the way the other woman snatched back her hand.
Jake stood with a deeply displeased look on his face. He indicated to Madison to follow behind him. Laken and Tarin watched on as he returned Madison to the unclaimed subs area, leaving her there.
Did it make her a bad person that she felt a huge surge of satisfaction at the look of outrage and disbelief on Madison’s face?

Laken was exhausted by the time they arrived home, but she knew there wouldn’t be any rest until they checked in with Duncan’s brothers. She waited by the entrance as Duncan checked the house over. He came back for her, leading her into the bathroom. Leaning in, he put in the plug and turned on the taps.
“Do we have time?” she asked with a yawn.
“It will take a while for Tarin and Marc to get back to their hotel room and report to my brothers.”
He helped her strip then gave her a kiss on the forehead. “You relax and take a bath while I clean off in the shower.”
Twenty minutes later, wrapped in a robe, she sat on the bed beside Duncan as they Skyped his brothers. Eli answered the call with a small smile. He looked tired.
“Hey bro, Laken. How was tonight?”
“Everything went well,” Duncan replied, running his hand over her hair. “Laken’s really tired so we need to keep this short.”
Eli nodded. “Bad news is that we didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. No one was sneaking around outside the club. I’ve just talked to Tarin and Marc; they didn’t see anything untoward. Although I understand there was a small issue with a woman, Madison Simpson?” Eli queried.
Laken snorted. “She’s just obsessed with Duncan. She might want to get rid of me in order to get to him, but I doubt she has anything to do with any of this.”
“So what’s the plan?” Duncan asked. “We go back next weekend?”
Eli nodded. “Yep. Remember, act like you normally would. Don’t keep her all locked up, Duncan. Wine and dine her. Thanks for everything Laken, I hope tonight wasn’t too hard on you.”
She glanced up at Duncan. “No, not hard at all.”
Chapter Sixteen
Laken walked into Duncan’s bedroom, her whole body on fire. They’d been out to dinner at Frieda’s, where Duncan had teased her horribly. He’d ordered her to go without panties and once they had ordered their meals, had proceeded to reach under the table, draw up her skirt and play with her until she thought she was going to come in front of a room full of people.
He’d seemed to know just when she had reached her limit, pulling back until she managed to claw back some control then starting over again.
“Strip and lie back on the bed, sugar,” he ordered, coming up behind her.
She moved quickly, wanting an end to the arousal bursting through her veins. Duncan pulled some nylon ropes his wardrobe. She swallowed as he walked over and tied it to one of the metal rungs on the headboard.
Her breath came faster. Duncan stilled, looking down at her.
“Trust me?”
“Yes,” she said immediately.
“Hands above your head.”
She raised her hands and he tied her wrists together. They were secured to the headboard. A feeling of helplessness stole over her.
“Leg’s up to your chest.”
She did as he ordered and he proceeded to skilfully tie her up so her legs were raised and split, putting her completely on display. The ropes around her ankles were loose enough so as not to chafe her, but there was no getting free. The other end of the rope was tied to the headboard, giving her a very limited range of movement.
