“That’s fair enough. Any punishment would wait until we were somewhere private or it would be quiet.”
She blushed but nodded slowly.
“So you’re agreeing to exploring these feelings we have?”
A blush filled her cheeks. “I. . . I think so.” She ran her hands down her thighs nervously.
“You think so?”
“I don’t quite. . .I don’t quite know what you want from me. What will I be to you? What will we do? How will it work?”
“We can adjust as we go along, but I’m thinking you’ll let me take you on a date tomorrow night.”
“A date?”
His lips twitched. “That’s what normal people in a relationship do, yeah?”
She smiled. “Yeah. But I wouldn’t exactly call us normal.”
“Normal is overrated.”
“Are you sure about the Daddy Dom stuff? Because I can suppress that side of me. Truth is, my Little hasn’t come out since that night you found me in my car.”
He frowned, not knowing if that was normal or not. “How often does she come out?”
She shrugged. “Well, she often appears when I’m tired or emotional. And most Saturday mornings.”
“Saturday mornings?”
“Cartoons,” she whispered.
That was cute.
Did he really just think something was cute? Christ, he was a hard-ass biker, he didn’t think things were cute. Except for her. She was most definitely cute.
“I don’t want you suppressing your Little, baby. I’ve done a bit of research into Daddy/Little girl relationships and I seem to have a Daddy side. When it comes to you, anyway. Even if I didn’t, I would never want you to hide a part of yourself from me to please me.”
“I did with Greg.”
“What have we agreed about Greg?”
“Greg is a douche,” she said obediently.
“That’s right
.”
She licked her lips, drawing his attention to them.
“What about if things don’t work out? What about my job?”
“I won’t fire you because of our personal relationship. If need be, I’ll help you find another job.”
She thought that over. She liked working here. Was she willing to risk her job in order to date Duke?
Except it wasn’t just dating, was it? He was offering her everything she’d ever wanted. A man who cared about her, found her attractive—although why, she didn’t understand—and wanted to be her Daddy.
Was a shot at happiness not worth a job that she’d just started? She could find another job.
