He called Reyes quickly, filling him in. The other man said they’d all be there shortly. But there wasn’t much they could do until he had some fucking idea of what happened to her. He paced back and forth across the break room.
Then his phone buzzed.
“My guys got it on camera. About eight minutes ago, she stepped into the alley and some bastard grabbed her from behind and pulled her into the back of a van. Couldn’t see much of his face. But we got the number plate of the van. We’re running it now. And Duke, Rory got into the driver’s side of the van.”
Anger roared through him. “That fucking mother-fucking bastard, I’m going to rip off his dick and feed it to him!”
“We have the direction the van is taking and we’re tapping into traffic cams. Want to call the cops?”
“Fuck! Not yet. They’ll just slow everything down.”
“Send me Rory’s phone number, my guy might be able to ping his location.”
He ended the call just as he heard Reyes and the others enter the front of the shop. He sent Ink Rory’s number.
He turned as his brothers walked into the room. “Sunny’s been kidnapped by Rory and another guy.”
Razor swore while Reyes’ face grew even colder, but surprisingly it was Spike who spoke.
“Well, seems some fuckers are going to die tonight.”

She slammed into the something hard, groaning in pain.
What happened? Where was she?
“Easy on the corners, asshole!” someone yelled. “There’s no fucking seat belts back here.”
Back here? Where was here? She tried to look around, blinking to get her eyes to adjust to the dark. Was she in the back of a van? It was loud and smelled like diesel. Why would she be in a van? Where was Duke? Why wasn’t she at work?
Another corner. She rolled, unable to find something to hold onto and banged into someone else. There was a whiff of body odor as the person shoved her away.
“Get off me, bitch!”
She froze. What was going on?
“Fucking hell, Rory, do you want the cops after us?”
Rory. Rory was here. Oh God. Someone had taken her as she’d helped Rory take the trash out. And Rory hadn’t helped her. He was driving the van to take her. . .where?
“Who are you? Where are we going? Rory? What’s going on?” she demanded.
“Shut the fuck up, bitch!” A hand reached out and slapped her.
She gasped in a breath, her eyes watering at the sharp sting.
“I want to make sure they can’t catch up to us!” Rory said, his voice sounding panicked.
“They won’t find us! Nobody saw us. We have plenty of time to have a little fun with this bitch before we kill her.”
Oh God. What? “Why did you kidnap me? What’s going on?”
“What’s going on is that stupid MC club your boyfriend belongs to thinks they’re too good for us,” the man told her. “They think they get to reject Horse? To call me an idiot and that I’ll let them get away with the insult?”
Wait. Horse. Rory’s friend, Horse. Reyes had told Rory that he and Horse weren’t allowed to become prospects. And they’d kidnapped her because. . .what? They were pissed off? What on Earth?
“Duke will kill you,” she said loudly. “He’s going to come for me and he’ll kill you both. Sure you want to risk that, Rory?”
