I must have been tired as hell. Stretching my arms, I inhale and smell...steak? Grabbing the crutches since I am still a bit groggy from my nap, I gimp my way into the kitchen and stop short when I see one of my fantasies standing in front of me. “Valentine.” she turns, her face red from the nickname. She used to love hearts when she was little. They covered her walls in her room. If every piece of clothing she had could have hearts, she would have. I used to joke that she loved herself too much, given that Valentine is her last name.
“Don’t call me that,” she says, turning back around to the stove. This is a fantasy I have had every day for the last two years. I pictured her right here in this kitchen I built for us, wearing one of my shirts and nothing else as she cooks for us, hair mussed, and body flushed.
“What are you doing here, May?”
“I was worried about you, and I know it is going to be hard for you to cook for yourself. So, I thought I would come here and fix you a few night's worth of dinner.” God, I love her. With her so close and no one is around, I find I am impatient and unable to stay on the other side of the counter. I hop along until my crotch is right against her ass and my mouth is on her neck.
“Is that the only reason you came here, baby sis?” hell. Something about calling her that, close enough to her that I can smell her, makes me hard as fuck. The pulse on the side of her neck begins to pick up. I can practically smell her desire, even over the aroma of the meat.
“Y-yes… I mean n-no.”
“Well, which is it? Did you come here just to cook for me, little girl?”
“Drew.” she half whines and moans as my mouth touches her neck, deliberately kissing her, loving the goosebumps.
“God, you smell so good, baby sis. Do you smell like this everywhere?” my tongue joins the seduction and fuck if she isn’t sweet. My mouth tingles, panting, incessant in its need to know if her pussy is going to make my mouth stick together. I spin her to face me, unable to take her back facing me anymore, claiming her mouth, I force hers open. She tastes every bit of the strawberry she smells like. “So sweet,'' I whisper against her lips before taking them again. When her hands cling to my shirt, my body screams for me to take her against the cabinet. I refuse to do that to her. Her first time is going to be special. Shit. I need to pull back while I am strong enough. I bite her one more time before setting her back from me.
“Drew.” she sucks in a breath as she leans against the counter, clutching her chest. Her face is pained, almost like she has been hurt. I want to reach for her, but if I do, I won’t stop, and she deserves flowers and candles and sunset.
“Just breath, baby. The inferno will die down.” I tell her from the other side of the counter.
“I am sure the fire will, but will the need ever leave?”
“I hope to fuck it doesn’t.” she looks at me quizzically like she doesn’t know what to make of what just happened. I watch helplessly as she gathers her purse and walks towards the door. “You just made this dinner. Aren’t you going to stay and eat it with me?” She doesn’t turn and look at me. She simply slumps her shoulders and walks out. What the fuck just happened?
Chapter Four
May
Four Days Later
I don't know what possessed me to come tonight. My head nor heart is in it, but this may be my last time to hang with my girlfriends from high school, so I figured what the hell. I didn’t think we would end up here at hook up city.
“Girl, you have been a mopey ass ever since we got here. Cheer up. We are going to see each other all the time.” My best friend Alicia says. I smile because I know she is trying to be sweet, but she couldn't be further from the truth. I have never told any of them about my...feelings for Drew. Hell, I didn’t even tell Lori. She figured it out. Out of the corner of my eye, I see my other two friends' face deep in some guy's tonsils, and my face scrunches up, thinking how gross it is that they are kissing total strangers. “See that guy over there?” Alicia says in my ear.
“Yes. What about him?”
“He has been eyeing you all night. I think you should go over there and talk to him.” oh boy.
