“What are you saying, May? Are you telling me you are no longer a virgin?” She gulps, responding to the aggression in my voice that surprises me even.

“That’s...personal, Drew.” she blushes and turns her head.

“Answer the fucking question, sis. Have you given yourself to someone? Who the fuck is it?” I shout before remembering where we are.

“Calm down. Geesh. I am still a virgin, ok.” she scrunches her face at her admission. Before I can stop myself, my finger traces her cheek, moving toward her mouth. Her lids get hooded the closer I get before my thumb moves along her bottom lip. I can feel the sheet rising as my cock pushes it up, commanding, she uses this succulent mouth on him. I am about to stop my exploration when her tongue sneaks out and licks my finger.

“Shit.” is the only thing I say before wrapping my hand around her neck and pulling her, our mouths meeting in the middle. She whimpers as we taste one another, her innocence evident in the way she kisses, meandering as she tries to follow my lead. God, it's so intoxicating having her in my hand. I can smell her sweetness, and I know I will never look at sugar the same. I hear the door open and pull back, not sure who it is.

“Oh… uhm… hi Jamison,” she says, her voice low and uneasy.

“Hi, May. I am sorry to interrupt. I just wanted to check on Andrew before I head out.” her face reddens as she rises from his side and walks to the door.

“I will just wait outside.” she leaves the room. My attention turns to Jamison as he shakes his head.

“Mack.” I know I sound short and annoyed because I am, though I know it is not his fault I dug myself a hole I don’t want out of.

“Andrew.'' From there, we spend a few minutes talking about what happened, but my mind is on my girl. It’s time I stop denying and start taking. Fuck proprietary. This is my goddamn life, and it is nothing without her.

Chapter Two

May

I left the hospital thanks to Lori, who got into an argument with Aiden and refused to stay longer. The entire car ride, I had to stop myself from touching my tingling lips as I remember how his lips felt on mine. I wanted his hands to touch me anywhere.

“Are you really sitting there pouting?” Lori asks, her voice a bit accusatory.

“No. I just wanted to stay a little longer and make sure he didn’t need anything. That’s all.”

“Yeah... sure,” she mumbles with a sneer.

“What crawled up your butt? Let me guess...Aiden.” She looks at me and rolls her eyes, not answering the question.

“I’m fine.” she throws at me. The rest of the car ride is silent, and though it gives me time to think about him, I also am the type of person who doesn’t like being ignored but, when Lori is mad, that is how she is. She drops me off, still, no words said, and I head into the house hoping the parentals are gone.

“May, we are in the kitchen.” I let out an exasperated sigh. So much for that. I walk into the kitchen and pick up a couple of blueberries. “So how is your brother?” she asks, pulling the blueberry pie from the oven. I wish she would stop calling him that. He is not my brother.

“He is fine. Just in a bit of pain, but he is fine.” I answer by turning my head so she can’t see the blush that spreads across my face.

“Good,” I tell she is about to say something else when Marshall walks in and kisses her on the cheek. He reaches for a fork to pick at the pie, but she hits his hand. You are going to spoil your dinner. Go wash your hands.” I can't help but smile, looking at the two of them. I am glad my mom found someone who treats her like a queen and to be honest, he has never treated Lori, and I like anything less than his daughters.

“May. How is my boy?” he walks back into the kitchen.

“He’s fine. Tired. Ready to be released.”

“I bet. Well, thank you for going to check on your brother. So, when are we going to decide on a college?” oh boy. Here we go. Every time I see him, that is all he wants to discuss. I tried telling him a few weeks ago that I am not sure I want to go away to school. That was a bad idea. He blew up like I have never seen him before. My mom had to practically drag him out of the room. To this day, I still can’t figure out why he was so upset.

“Um...I mean, I have it narrowed down to two here in town and the one in Georgia.”
