‘Lucaj,’ Libby remonstrated in her usual down to earth way – while she still could, as Lucaj was dropping kisses on her neck – ‘I’m not beautiful.’
Straightening up, Lucaj shook his head. ‘You are the most beautiful woman in the world, both inside and out. You’re my wife, and I love you with all my heart. And,’ he added as a final deciding factor. ‘Am I ever wrong?’
Libby had quite a lot to say about that, but Lucaj stopped her with his fingertips on her lips. ‘I’ve got a better idea. Let’s not stand here debating this. We’ve got the rest of our lives to do that.’
‘So…?’ she prompted.
The tension between them rose to unsustainable, and then Lucaj said, ‘So, let’s go to bed.’
