“What do you say we get out of here and make the most of the night?”

Eddie definitely wasn’t from around here. I would have noticed him long ago. The man looked like a cover model for trade magazines. Someone people would pay money to see with his shirt off. He was the whole package too, not just body and muscles but a gorgeous face that was still boyish in the most inviting way. He seemed genuine and not full of himself. He also didn’t want me drunk, which I liked right away.

We talked hiking and movies, tattoo pain and sundaes, and then toothaches and dental work, somehow veering off into deep sea diving and then serial killers. He didn’t want to talk cars, and it thrilled me to no end. Every single date I’d been on in the last five years revolved around cars. Cars were the main topic of conversation with any guy who asked me out. From dudes who didn’t know what else to talk to me about, all the way to guys who actually were looking for advice on maintenance and repairs. I was having so much fun connecting with another human being without the necessity of bringing vehicles into the conversation. It was liberating just being a woman and not having to constantly fill the expectation of cool car chick. At the same time, I was aware that it was a luxury afforded at him not being a local. He’d pigeonhole me too if he knew, so I decided not to say a single thing about cars and instead let myself enjoy the encounter.

Eddie kissed me in the parking lot, and I thought my panties would fall off. That’s how wet I got from the swipe of his demanding tongue. I stood on tiptoe and kissed him back—hard.

“I want to invite you back to my hotel, but decency is telling me not to because technically, we just met and it’s the first date.”

His hands fell from my shoulders and swept across the expanse of my back. I wanted more.

“Tell decency to shut up.”

We took a taxi to the fanciest hotel in town. I’d already resigned myself to sleeping in a Motel 6, even though I’d been holding out hope for the Best Western.

“Are you some kind of prince?” I asked him as we took the elevator to the penthouse suite.

“We can pretend I am, if you’re into that kind of thing.”

I looked at him and smiled. He responded by pushing me up against the wall of the elevator and guiding my arms above my head. He ravaged my mouth and then attacked my neck with kisses, tongue flicks, and sweet little bites. The scrape of his stubble at my shoulder made goosebumps spill across my chest. Then Eddie cupped my breasts and kissed the swell of them that spilled out of my dress.

“I’ve been wanting to do that all night, since you first smiled.”

“Is that why you smiled back?”

“Jackpot. Cherries,” he said. I had a thing for cherries and my dress was covered in them.

He pulled me out of the elevator by the hand and tugged me quickly down the corridor. I struggled to keep up in my black pumps, so I leaned down and took them off. He smiled at my bare feet and tugged at me again. Then, right before the door to his room, he scooped me up into his arms. It didn’t work so well with the key card, which he handed to me to swipe.

The room was a palace. Way too extravagant for one man alone.

“I’ve been dying to do this,” he said. He set me on my feet and then stalked to the huge windows and threw back the curtains, exposing the best view I’d ever seen of Springfield in my life.

“That’s incredible,” I said. I ran to the window in my bare feet, which felt sensuous against the thick carpet. I put my hands on the glass and stared down at the city I’d grown up in.

“Not quite as incredible as you in this dress. I want to take it off you,” he said.

I could feel his fingers at the stays. My nipples ached with arousal, and my panties were already slick from the little he’d touched me. I needed a big man like Eddie to fill me up. Fuck me hard so I could come equally as hard and exorcise the stress. Being a business owner wasn’t easy. Made me wonder what this guy did. Maybe finance or banking. Maybe he’d inherited it. Hell, for all I knew, he won the lottery and had never worked a day in his life. I didn’t care. I was counting on his dick being as huge as the rest of him.

He unzipped my dress, and shivers flew down my flesh as it swooped to my feet. I was wearing a corset as well as garters. Eddie made a high whistling sound as I turned to face him. His gaze swept my full figure and lingered on my breasts.
