My wife. God, do I love saying that. Right now, she’s in a scoop neck T-shirt, one of my flannels on top of it, and black leggings. I don’t know why she isn’t resting.

“You could have told them no, honey. Mom would have understood.” I put Hudson in the crook of my arm, making sure his head is cradled and he can’t move.

“No way. My parents were here earlier. I wasn’t going to tell the other set no. Are you trying to get us in trouble?” she retorts with a huff of breath.

“You’re not wrong, but next time, let the phone ring. I’ll call Mom back and let her know. Now, Hudson and I are gonna hang out and watch some baseball. Do you want to join us on the couch, or are you going to take a nap in bed?” This is my way of making her get some extra sleep.

“I’ll rest on the couch. I need to call Willow at Kissme and make sure everything’s okay.” Another yawn sneaks out of her.

“I’m sure she’s fine. Stop being a mother hen,” I throw her words back at her, words she uses so often on me.

“Hmph, don’t think I didn’t feel you get out of bed to answer a call last night from the Tipsy Cow,” she throws back.

“Different hours. It was about a liquor order, and you didn’t see me making a call. I was receiving it. Come on, Lil, let’s go rest before the next batch stops by. Graham hasn’t made his presence known, and you know Faith will be by later this week. Maybe she and Logan will watch Hudson while I take a few cows to the auction, you know, so you’ll actually take a nap.” I already know what’s coming.

“We’ll see. I’m not arguing with you about needing more sleep, but I feel like I’ll miss something, not to mention it’s not like I can tell my boobs to quit producing milk. Hudson cries, they’re like ‘Hey, over here!’” She raises her arms, shaking her tits.

“You keep moving like that, and I’ll take you to bed,” I grunt.

“Not happening. I’m not healed yet, and you heard the doctor. Six weeks.” I’m not sure who’s more disappointed in that, me or her.

“Don’t you worry, there are other ways.” Hudson’s two weeks old, and we’re both counting down the weeks.

“Promises, promises, Mr. Byrd.” She turns around and walks down the hall towards the living room, leaving me and our boy behind, knowing full well we’ll follow her anywhere and everywhere.

Two Years Later

“Don’t stop.” My hands are in Beau’s hair. His mouth is teasing me relentlessly, sucking my clit into his mouth, then scraping his teeth along it. Right when I’m ready to come, he’ll change tactics and thrust his tongue inside me, mimicking what his cock would do if that’s what he was using, before doing it all over again.

And I know if I scream, we’ll have a toddler raring to go, so I do the next best thing—I grab the pillow beside me, put it over my head, scream into it, and thrust my hips up to chase the orgasm Beau is intent on trying to kill me with.

“Please,” I moan. It’s garbled beneath the pillow, but he must hear my plea when his lips go to my clit, his fingers find their way inside me, curling two of them in a come-hither manner. My hips are off the bed, body quivering, sweat dampening my skin, and I finally explode. Beau doesn’t stop but instead slows down, bringing my body to a slow burn all over again, and if he doesn’t do something else, I’m going to attack him. In fact, I think I’ll do just that.

I throw the pillow off my face, move so fast that he has to back up, and in a tangle of limbs, I get Beau on his back.

“You feeling the need to ride something, honey?” Beau flexes his hips, and I sink down on him. My back arches, my hands moving behind me, using his upper thighs for purchase as I grind down, swiveling my hips, as Beau thrusts into me.

“God, you feel so good,” I mutter.

“Yeah, honey, you feel good too. I’m going to fuck a baby into you this time. You ready for that?” How Beau is able to talk I have no idea. I nod my head, ready to start trying for another child. We talked about starting six months ago, but I was still enjoying the one-on-one time with Hudson. This way, he’ll almost be three by the time his brother or sister comes along. And, believe me, going on birth control was not what Beau wanted. He grumbled the entire time, even though neither of us wanted to deal with condoms, so I got the birth control shot. Two weeks ago was my next appointment, and I conveniently missed it as a birthday present to Beau. Needless to say, we’ve been relentless in the love-making department every time Hudson gives us a chance.
