He straightened up and took her in his arms again. “You know, I’ve been thinking about redecorating my apartment.” His brow furrowed. “But I’m going to need expert advice. I mean, I’ve no idea what fabrics go best with cat and dog fur.”
Crista laughed and curled her arms around Grant’s neck.
“Well, you’ve come to the right place for help. I’m definitely an expert in the field.”
“It has to be a scheme that will suit my wife, as well. She’s a woman who likes colorful things, and she’ll need a workroom of some sort where she can design jewelry…”
Crista smiled. “All your wife will ever need is right here, in her arms,” she sighed, her lips inches from Grant’s.
Grant’s hands slipped into her hair. “And that’s where you’re going to stay, because I’m never going to lose you again. I’ll love you forever, my darling,” he promised.
And she knew, without question, that it was true.
