“Of course I say yes.”

“Right now?”

“Yes.”

He pulled out his phone.

“What are you doing?” she asked as he frantically touched the screen.

“Letting the celebrant and witnesses know they’re good to go.”

“You’re serious, you really mean right n-n-now?” She gaped at him.

“Uh huh.” A startled look entered his eye. “You weren’t serious?”

“Of course I was.” But she giggled and wrapped her arms around her middle. “But you really mean right here, right now.”

She was in jeans and her hair was in a messy braid and she’d hardly slept.

“I really do.” He winked at her. “I’ve waited long enough.”

This was so crazy. So awesome. So Logan.

“You’re okay about not having a big wedding?” He suddenly drew back and asked.

“I don’t want a massive wedding.” It was the last thing she wanted. “I just want you.”

He smiled at her. Yeah, he knew her well.

No parents. No disapproval—or approval for that matter. Nothing mattered but being with him.

He quickly sent the message and then looked up at her, that old roguish sparkle in his eyes. “I knew it was a good idea investing in that helicopter company.”

It still tickled her that Logan was a silent partner for so many when, in his personal life he was anything but. And insisted she be anything but.

And now she knew why he’d let Tyler hire her in the first place–he liked helping new businesses. Building dreams.

Hers had bounced back after the engagement bump. But she focused more on helping her clients first establish their social media presence, then guiding them to manage their pages themselves, with her as on-call assistant. She loved the design element and the direct client contact. It was much more fun, much less isolated.

She stood just in front of him, overlooking the monumental landscape, feeling so small, yet so secure. So certain. He wrapped his arms around her and looked forward with her.

“I feel so lucky,” he muttered.

“Me too.”

A few minutes later the chopper landed and Rocco and Dani, Chelsea and Xander, Hunter, and then Connor ran towards them. Xander and Hunter both wheeled big cases behind them, Connor clutched a couple of suit bags. Another man—the celebrant—came out last.

Not a big wedding? Min’s heart filled to bursting. Their family was here.

“I’m so excited and look at you, you’re glowing,” Chelsea hugged Min. “And you probably want to get changed, right?”

Get changed where?

“Come on,” Dani said. “I have a portable change room for you, Logan’s modeling experience has to be useful for something, right?”

“We have two options for you,” Chelsea added as they led her away. “There’s big and frothy or there’s slinky.”

“What do you think?” Dani asked.

Min so didn’t care. She glanced back over her shoulder and saw Logan standing there, not listening to his buddies as he watched her—his heart in his mesmerizing eyes.

No hairdresser, no make-up, no matter. This wasn’t about appearances or perceptions. This was only about what was inside. About what was right.

As the sun rose higher and bathed them in a golden light, she looked up at the man who’d stolen her heart. She’d never felt so beautiful, so blessed.

“I love you,” she said.

“Not half as much as I love you,” he replied.

“Oh, you’re c-competing with me, are you?”

“No need.” He shook his head. “I’ve won. Everything.”

On the edge of one of the world’s most beautiful natural wonders, wearing the slinky option, Min looked up at Logan and listened as the celebrant spoke. Listened as Logan declared his love.

And she drew breath and smiled as she said her vows to him. She didn’t know if she stuttered at all, didn’t care.

She was too busy smiling.

Afterwards, he pulled her close, rested his forehead on hers. “It’s going to be amazing, Min.”

“I know.” It already was.

“Take a picture of us, will you?” He called to his friends.

“Someone will get hold of the picture and post it on the internet,” Min warned.

“People can post what they like,” he shrugged. “I don’t care about what anyone else thinks. Only you.” He reached into his pocket again. “But now that we’re married, I can give you this.”

He dropped to his knee before her, and opened the small box.

“What’s that?”

“Your ‘not engaged’ ring to go with your ‘definitely wedded’ ring,” he said. “I took a leaf out of your old client’s book and had it specially designed. Because I so did have to compete with him on that. It’s an emerald, see?”

Oh she could see for sure. A gorgeous emerald, diamond framed, set in a simple platinum band. It wasn’t overly huge or flashy. It was simply stunning.

“The color of your eyes,” he said softly.

She reached out, not for the ring, but to frame his face and look into his eyes. That wicked ice blue. “In other words you’ve given me two engagement rings?”

He shrugged. “Kinda. I guess. Yeah. One flashy for the fake, one beautiful for the true.”

“They’re both beautiful.” She had a real love for her over-sized diamond now, looking at it made her smile. They’d come so far since then. But this emerald? “I love it.”

She watched as he slipped the emerald down, setting it firm against her new wedding band. He looked up into her face and winked.

So generous, so outrageous. So loving. So Logan.

And all hers.
