I try to give him a warning, but my body crumples too quickly. The orgasm practically blinds me as it shakes through my soul, and I nearly lose my footing when Ryan comes too.
"Angel," he rasps. "Fuck, the way you squirted was hot. I love making you come."
I stand, and he steadies me as I look and see how wet my thighs are, then sit my ass on the table. "Wow,” I say, still trying to catch my breath. “Guess I can mark two things off my sex bucket list.”
"I promised I’d take that ass cherry,” he says with a smug grin, standing between my legs. “Did you like it?"
His hand moves down to my swollen pussy, and he massages my clit. My mouth falls open as I claw my nails into his back. "Yes, it felt weird at first, but as soon as I relaxed, I came, and it felt amazing. No one's ever gone there before," I admit as he picks up the pace.
“I wanna make you come all night long.”
“You have for the past five days,” I tease. “Not that I’m complaining.”
"I think we have some records to break, sweetheart," he taunts, gently kissing me, right as I crumble beneath his touch again. My body convulses, and I lie flat on the table, taking it all in.
"Trust me, we’ve already broken records," I say breathlessly.
"Then it's time to make new ones."Chapter SixteenRyanAfter we clean up, Kendall and I sit at the breakfast bar and eat our chili and rice. There's no way I'll ever be able to look at that table the same. While Kendall admitted she's experiencing many firsts with me, the truth is, I am too.
I've never had a partner who’s been so open to try new things in the bedroom. When I was with Rachelle, the sex was more routine but not the focus of our relationship. It makes me realize how special my connection with Kendall actually is, and I'm not sure I want this to end.
I know we'd discussed just fucking for fun without the feelings, but I can't deny what's brewing between us. It's almost too much for me to handle because I know what she deserves, but I just don't know if I could give her that.
"Whatcha thinking about?" she asks right before she takes a big bite of chili.
I put on a smile. "Nothing. Nothing at all."
She points her spoon at me. "You're a bad liar, Ryan St. James."
I chuckle as she drops my full name. “It's why I'm a doctor and not a lawyer," I admit with a wink. I’ve learned to tell the truth, but in a respectful manner. Patients expect doctors to deliver bad news with compassion, and it’s partially why I’m so devoted to my job. I’m not just their doctor. We form relationships, and I truly want the best for them.
"So, I spoke with Cami earlier." Thankfully, she changes the subject.
"Really? What level of stressed-out is she about the wedding today?"
Kendall takes a sip of her water. "Eh, I’d say between six and seven. She's already devoured a bag of candy from her secret stash."
I let out a hearty laugh. "Sounds about right. I'm sure everything will go fine. My parents hired tons of security, so she has nothing to worry about on that front. And she's more than ready to settle down with Eli. I'm sure it's just anxious nerves for it to be here already."
Kendall meets my eyes and smiles. The realization hits me that Kendall and I are following the same path as my best friend and sister. My entire body is on fire.
After we're done eating, Kendall and I clean up the kitchen, then we go to the living room. Instead of sitting on the couch, we pull two chairs close to the large windows and look out at the new blanket of snow covering the ground. At this point, I've been trying to keep my boss updated as much as possible, but I'm not convinced we'll be leaving in the next few days. As soon as the main roads were clear, we got bombarded with more snow and another delay in the private road leading to the cabin getting cleared.
Kendall changes into some leggings and a tank top, then loops her legs over the edge of the chair, sitting sideways in it. I'm checking emails and trying to go over charts as she draws.
Every once in a while, I find myself staring as dark hair falls in front of her face. She's mesmerizing, and I can't help but watch her work. Randomly, she'll chew on the inside of her cheek when she's shading something. I can't wait to see what she's working on because I was blown away by the snowscape she painted. The more time we spend together, the more I learn about her.
