“I mean it, Wren. Give that girl her stuff and stop being a creep.”
“So it’s okay when you do it? But no one else is allowed?”
Anna chuckles, placing her warm hand on my chest. It calms me, but even as crazy as this situation is, I can’t even be mad about it. If Wren even feels an ounce for Whitney that I feel for Anna, then I know trying to force his hand will be hopeless.
“Stop living in your computer, and get out into the real world,” I insist. “It’s making you weird.”
Anna offers to help him get his girl, but he just grumbles as he shuts down the video feeds to the gym. He looks truly distraught when the camera in front of her apartment door winks off.
“Let’s let him grieve,” I tell her as I pull her out the door. “We have a lot of time to make up for.”
Anna couldn’t keep her hands off me on the way to the ranch, and we finished what we started in the parking garage right in the middle of my driveway before we could climb out of the truck.
Life is going to be amazing with this woman, and I plan to prove to her every day that she means more to me than any other person could.THE END
