“Sax?” I can hear the concern laced in her voice and now I want to tap one into his head for making my girl worry.

“It’s ok baby. Just don’t move.” I turn back and right as I do, I see him try to come closer to get a glimpse of Lexi and I lose my shit. My gun is in my hand before I can stop myself and in his face. I warned you, didn’t I? Didn’t I?” I say right before he becomes obsolete. I watch him drop to the floor, not worried about someone seeing. We are tucked far into the corner, but also off to the right in a spot where the dance floor can't see right here, and we can't see them.

“SAX!” I hear her scream. Shit. I turn to face her and holy fuck if her pupils aren’t dilated. Her pussy is squeezing me tighter than a fucking vortex. I knew this girl was made for me. “Oh, fuck that was hot!! Oh God!! I’m about to cum.” She moves on and off my cock frantically racing toward her finish. Knowing what she just saw didn’t change how she felt about me is what brings me to the finish line. I slam into her over and over as I coat the inside of her with everything I have to give. What the fuck has she done to me? Knowing we don’t have time to come down, I pull out, both of us groaning as we part and pull my pants up. She flips down her skirt and that is when the worry kicks in. Grabbing her face, I kiss her.

“I love you so much baby. Let’s go.” She looks back, her eyes memorizing the dead body lying there. As she bites her lip, I know what is coming.

“I’m scared Sax. What if the police come and take you?” She asks, tears in her eyes. I notice that one of my drivers is there with the Lincoln. Ramone must have called him when he took the Hummer. Once we are seated in the back and she is on my lap, I tell her the truth.

“If the police find out, by the time they get there, the body will be gone, and all evidence destroyed. Including videos.”

“But how can you be so sure?” I laugh as I kiss her neck, sniffing her sweet floral scent. It calms me.

“I own the club. And the island. Which basically includes the police.” Her eyes get big as she takes it all in. “So, no worries baby. Now let’s go home. We’re getting married tomorrow.”

“I know. I can’t believe it.” She leans over and lays her head on me. Rubbing her back, I kiss her forehead.

“Believe it baby. After tomorrow, you will be Mrs. Saxson Maldonado.” She beams at me and I feel ten feet tall. This girl has turned me inside out and I find I am ok with that.17LexiHoly shit! I think looking up at the ceiling. I have been staring at the damn thing for who knows how long. I keep blinking, thinking I am going to wake up and this will not be my life. Who the hell graduates high school and meets a man, a mobster at that, and falls for him with barely more than a hello? Then goes with said man to an island and decides to marry him? Me. That’s who. It didn’t even dawn on me until last night, after Saxson finished fucking my brains out again, that I didn’t even have a ring. I mean is this real. Am I in some alternate universe?

Knock. Knock.

Not bothering to move, I call out. “Come in.” Turning my head, I see his sister walk in.

“Good morning. How are you feeling?”

“Fine. Why? Is something wrong? Why wouldn’t I be ok? Did something happen and I missed it? Saxson woke up and realized he was making a mistake, didn’t he?”

“Whoa!! Calm down their girl. He is downstairs, directing the caterer and florist on where to put everything while Lara is helping with the setup on the beach.” Oh shit. I hang my head for a second, embarrassment overtaking me. I didn’t realize I said all of that out loud.

“I’m sorry Julissa. I am a wreck right now. This is just not how I saw my wedding day going.” I tell her honestly. It’s true though. I never had a place in mind, but my father, as fucked up as he is, was always going to walk me down the aisle. My mom and I were going to go shopping together for it, and it would be full of our families on both sides. This is definitely not my vision. Some parts are better. Saxson, is definitely a plus. This island, absolutely a step up. But everything else.
