“Don’t you dare give me that look!” Sonja snapped. “You love this.”
“Would you mind getting the towels out of the laundry room?” He gave a little jerk of his head to a partially closed door not far off the kitchen. “I should have left them folded on the dryer or maybe on the shelf.”
“Yeah, sure.”
Andrei crossed the room and pushed the door open a little farther. On the top of the dryer was a tidy stack of folded towels just as Ian has described. He stepped the rest of the way into the room, not bothering to flip on the light, reaching for the stack when the door closed behind him. Andrei turned and strong hands caught him and pushed him against the wall. He caught a hint of Lucas’s cologne a half second before warm lips captured his mouth, swallowing down the laugh that bubbled up.
For a second, Andrei thought about pushing the man away from him. They’d already been caught once by Snow. Ian and his mother were less than ten steps away and the doors in this place were fucking thin. But then Lucas’s tongue slid across the seam of his lips and Andrei’s parted on a sigh, welcoming Lucas in, pulling him closer as he wrapped his arms around his waist.
“If I didn’t know better, Vallois, I’d say you were stalking me,” Andrei murmured against his cheek as he broke off the kiss to move down his jaw to seek out the hidden spot just behind Lucas’s earlobe that made him moan every single damn time.
“Stalking…” he gasped, hands clamping down on Andrei’s ass. “Stalking is such an ugly word.”
“What would you call it?” Andrei continued his trek down Lucas’s neck, pausing to lick across his Adam’s apple while contemplating pulling off his tie so he could get access to just a little more flesh.
“Hunting.” Lucas plunged his tongue back into Andrei’s mouth, seizing control once again. Wrapping his hands around both of Andrei’s wrists, Lucas pinned them over his head with a loud thud against the drywall before he ground his hardening erection against Andrei’s. A soft whimper trickled from Andrei. He loved every second of Lucas’s rough handling. There was nothing better than seeing this tightly controlled man hovering on the edge of snapping. Well, except for when Andrei pushed him that last little bit so that he finally lost control and gave Andrei everything that he had, no hesitation, no holding back. He loved Lucas reckless, panting, and desperate.
Their only warning was the rattle of the doorknob as someone grabbed it and started to turn it. Lucas jerked away from Andrei. The heel of his hard-soled shoe banged against the door as he shoved it closed before it could open more than a crack. The loud slam was followed by laughter from several people.
Andrei groaned, but there was no stopping the smile playing on his lips. “Why do you keep doing this?”
Lucas leaned his back against the door. The only light in the tiny room seeped in under the door so that Andrei could only see a faint outline of his companion. But he could make out Lucas’s hand outstretched, reaching for him. “Because I can’t keep my hands off you.”
Andrei snorted, but he still closed the two feet separating them, pressing his chest against Lucas’s. “Not buying it.”
“It’s true. If we’re in the same building, I’d rather have you in my arms than across the room.”
“Awwwww,” came Melissa’s muffled voice from the other side of the door. “That’s so sweet.”
A bark of laughter escaped Andrei and he dropped his head back. Of course Mel heard that. There was no privacy in this place, not that he should have expected that, but they were standing in a dark laundry room. You would have thought they could have more than one minute of peace.
Melissa’s words were followed by a loud scratching on the door as if she were running her fingernails along the wood. “Come on, Lucas. Let me in. I wanna watch!”
Lucas groaned. “Go find your husband, Mel!”
“No! I’ve seen Ian’s laundry room. There’s no way all four of us could fit in there.”
Sonja’s loud, surprised laugh echoed through the kitchen, reaching them easily in the laundry room. Ian sounded like he was swearing and saying something to the effect that no one was screwing on his clean towels, but the exact words were getting lost in the new voices that were now in the kitchen.
“Fuck. Let me out of here before anyone else tries to join us.” Andrei stepped back from Lucas and grabbed the towels Ian had sent him for in the first place.Lucas stepped back from the door and pulled it open. Mel was the first one to greet him, a smug look on her face for a second before Rowe grabbed her by the shoulders and directed her back toward the living room. He looked up as Andrei tried to slide past him, trying to angle his body so that they didn’t touch, but it didn’t exactly work since it was a narrow doorway and neither of them was particularly small.
