When the man tensed and went still, sucking in a deep breath, Baer felt his own balls draw up. Wiley threw back his head, releasing a long, low moan as he came all over Baer’s stomach and chest. Baer pushed up into him again and again as his orgasm slammed into him, whiting out the world.

“Fuck,” he yelled, the pleasure so intense he thought he’d pass out. It just kept thrumming through him in pulsing waves of ecstasy. Wiley kissed him.

“Yeah,” he breathed again. “Come in me.”

And Baer could feel it, feel his slick all around his cock inside Wiley. He brought one hand around to run his finger over where they were joined, feeling the wetness leaking from Wiley. “So damn hot.”

Wiley slumped over him then, smearing his cum between them. Baer loved it, wanted it. All of it—all over him. He breathed hard and couldn’t stop his grin against Wiley’s lips.

“What?” Wiley whispered.

“That was so good, I thought I’d pass out.”

Chuckling, Wiley sat up, making Baer gasp since he was still inside him. His cock softened, sliding free of his mate. He didn’t want out. Wanted to stay inside the man all night. He pulled Wiley down for a kiss and groaned when Wiley’s tongue slipped into his mouth.

Wiley pulled back to stare at him and smiled. “I can’t believe I get to keep you.”

“And you’ll live a long time, too.”

His smile smoothed out. “If we beat the pestilents.”

“Oh, we’re going to beat them this time. I’m determined.”

“Then we will. And it will be we.” He frowned. “I don’t feel any different, though, so I’m not sure if I was right about my power idea. Or if I even got one.”

“I’m sure it’ll show up when we need it.” Baer smoothed a hand over his chest. “Are you ready to move in here for good? You’ll have to give up your apartment since it’s safer here.”

Wiley nodded. “I’ve got a lease, but I can just let it run out. Where would we put all my things?”

“Why don’t we set up the game room next to this one as your workspace? We’ll go get your desk and other things as soon as it’s safe to do so.” He looked around the room. “We can put your bookshelves up over there.” He pointed to a blank wall.

“Really? You wouldn’t mind having my action figures in here?”

“I want all your things in here. The love seat will have to go into your new office. You can make that space yours. As well as in here. This will be our room unless you want one of the ones Dane hasn’t renovated yet. But this one is bigger.” He winked.

“This room already means something to me, so we’ll stay. I get to stay. Woohoo!” He rolled onto Baer and wrapped his arms around him, shoving his hands underneath him. He squeezed until Baer couldn’t help but laugh and wrap his arms around Wiley, too.

“Yeah, you’re gonna stay with me.”

After being on the road for so long, Baer loved living here. He was already coming to care for his brothers and well, having Wiley just topped it off. He thanked the goddesses again for having the pumpkin doughnut craving—though he was pretty damn sure they’d known who Wiley would be to him all along. His simple mistake in thinking Wiley was a Weaver had led to this moment. He couldn’t stop staring at Wiley, taking in his disheveled, just-fucked good looks.

“You’re staring.”

“ ’Cause you’re beautiful.”

His smile was the sweet one that made Baer’s heart skip. “I like the way you see me.”

“You see me, too. Have from the beginning.”

Wiley tucked a strand of hair behind Baer’s ear. “Anyone could see how wonderful you are. You take such amazing care of me. Understand me. I know exactly how precious that is.”

“Things are going to get more dangerous, and I can’t stand the thought of you getting hurt. Promise me you’ll stay back with Dane during the fighting.”

Wiley’s smile instantly turned into a stubborn look that he was starting to recognize far too well. “That’s not fair. What if my power is somehow helpful?”

Baer frowned. “God, Wiley, if something happened to you, I wouldn’t survive it.”

“Then we’ll make sure nothing happens to me. Don’t worry, I’m sure I’ll be pretty scrappy in a battle. I’m small, but I can be fierce.”

Baer chuckled. “I’m sure you are.” He showed Wiley everything he felt. “I’ve been alone most of my life, and now I’m not. I have my brothers and I have you, and you are infinitely more precious to me than my own life.”

Wiley’s eyes went wide. “Already?”

Nodding, Baer pulled him down until he was lying on his chest. “Already and always.”

“How did I get so lucky?” Wiley whispered into his neck.

“I’m the lucky one in this relationship.”
