All three goddesses took hold of their arms while also touching the binding cloth. In a low, melodic voice, Willie chanted something he couldn’t understand. The voices of the sisters flowed in like the evening tide, rising and wrapping around them in a sinuous dance. It was beautiful and electric. Energy crackled lightly in the air, lifting the hair on the back of his neck.

Wiley gasped as a light glowed around them. A swell of warmth grew within Baer from where their hands were joined and then flowed into Wiley’s body. The power shifted and moved between them. Each time, it brought more emotions from Wiley. Deep love, happiness, devotion, concern, determination, loyalty. It was overwhelming. Baer blinked away tears and he found answering tears shining in Wiley’s eyes.

The chanting wound to a halt, and Baer exhaled a deep sigh of relief.

A bubble of laughter broke from Wiley, and he tossed back his head on a gasp. “I can feel your emotions.”

“What do you feel?” Baer murmured, soaking in every ounce of Wiley’s joy.

“Love. Beautiful, perfect love.”

Leaning down, Baer captured Wiley’s lips in a sweet, drugging kiss. The world was on the cusp of falling apart, but he would treasure this moment for the rest of his days. He had his Wiley. Together, they’d be able to conquer whatever the pestilents threw at them and more.Chapter 23Baer couldn’t believe Wiley was really his. They stared at each other from across the bedroom, and the soft smile on Wiley’s face warmed Baer’s entire body.

“You’re happy with this?” Baer asked even though he could feel Wiley’s joy, thanks to their new bond.

“Couldn’t be happier. You?” Wiley took a step toward him.

“It’s a dream come true. I wanted you before I knew you were my soul mate, but this is like icing on an already perfect chocolate cake.”

Wiley came up to him and wrapped his arms around Baer’s neck. He stared at him for the longest time, his gaze roaming over Baer’s face. “I just can’t believe this. I hoped with everything in me, but I honestly felt you deserved someone who’s not so broken.”

Baer’s heart turned over. “You’re not broken. You’re you, and that includes the illness. I’m sorry you suffer from it, but it’s a part of who you are to me, and I love you. All of you.”

“I love you, too.” Wiley slipped his hands down to the two buttons of Baer’s shirt and started undoing them. He kissed the skin he exposed. “But now.” Kiss. “I want.” Kiss. “To fuck.” He shoved Baer’s shirt up and over his head so he could get access to the rest of Baer’s chest.

When Wiley latched on to one of Baer’s nipples, he took a hard, deep breath, then held it. “Want that, too.”

He kept kissing lower, going to his knees in front of Baer. He looked up at him with those gorgeous brown eyes as his hands worked Baer’s fly open. Tugging on his jeans and boxers, he dropped his gaze as he freed Baer’s cock. “I love your dick.” He leaned in and kissed the tip, then ran his tongue along the head.

Baer slid his fingers into Wiley’s soft hair as Wiley suctioned his cheeks and pulled him in. Pleasure shot through him and he stared, mesmerized by the sight of Wiley going down on him. It was so obvious from his expressions and moans that the man was taking his own pleasure in the act, and it made everything even better for Baer. He still couldn’t believe Wiley was his soul mate; the knowledge sent joy thrumming through him. He threaded his fingers through those silky strands and watched as Wiley pulled nearly all the way off him, then slid back down.

“Shit,” he breathed. “So good.”

Wiley started bobbing his head, his mouth hot, wet, and tight.

Baer didn’t want to come yet, wanted it to last, so he slowly pulled his cock from Wiley’s mouth, smiling when Wiley leaned forward, following it. He looked like someone had taken his ice cream cone from him. Baer pulled him to his feet and slanted his lips over Wiley’s, kissing deep into his mouth.

Slim arms wrapped around his neck again as Wiley pulled him close. His body felt so good against Baer’s and he tugged him even closer, his hands digging into Wiley’s back. He felt the hard ridge of Wiley’s dick and rubbed. Wiley gasped before twining their tongues together.

“Need your skin,” Baer whispered as he frantically grabbed for the buttons of Wiley’s shirt. Wiley shrugged the sleeves off, and Baer tossed the shirt to the floor. He ran his hands over Wiley’s back, loving the smooth, supple skin. He felt along the knobs of his spine, then reached his slacks, sliding one hand down inside to cup an ass cheek.

Wiley moaned and thrust against him. “Want you so badly.”
