Everything looks perfect in the dress.
“We’re going to leave you two love birds,” Kingsley says as she squeezes past us. “Enjoy dinner with the folks.”
“Thank you for helping me get ready,” Lee calls out after them.
When the door shuts behind them, I take two steps back and let my gaze slowly drift over her again.
“I think you should just permanently keep the dress on from now on,” I tease.
“We should go,” Lee says with a smile.
When she walks by me, and I see her from behind, I let out a groan. “Freeze quickly.” Pulling out my phone again. “I have to take another photo because that ass needs to be framed.”LeeLayla, Kingsley, and I are all sitting in the guys' suite waiting for them to finish getting ready so we can go to the BBQ that’s being held by their new partners.
After having dinner with Lake’s parents, I felt much better. They were just as warm and kind as Lake.
Mrs. Cutler kept assuring me everything concerning the wedding is taken care off. She got a wedding planner to handle the event.
I’m grateful but sad at the same time. I would’ve preferred a more intimate and traditional ceremony to celebrate the union of my and Lake’s love.
I keep looking around the suite because it’s the first time I’ve been in it.
“Are you looking for something?” Kingsley asks.
I quickly shake my head. “It’s my first time in this suite.”
“What?” Layla gives me a shocked look. “Lake hasn’t brought you up here yet?”
I shake my head again, smiling at her.
“Lake!” Kingsley yells at the top of her lungs.
“What?” Lake comes out of the room, strapping a watch to his wrist.
“Why haven’t you brought Lee up here yet?” she asks.
“I have,” he frowns then looks at me, “haven’t I?”
“No.” I let out a chuckle when shock settles over his face.
“Oh wait,” he says. “It’s because I share it with Falcon and Mason, and we would have zero privacy.”
“Oooh… why do you need privacy?” Kingsley teases him.
“To plan how I’m going to ship y’all off to boarding school,” Lake jokes as he walks toward me. He holds his hand out to me, and when I take it, he pulls me to my feet so fast, I crash into his chest. Grinning down at me, he teases, “Let me show you my bedroom.”
“Kids don’t wanna hear no noises,” Kingsley shouts after us as Lake pulls me into his room.
He shuts the door and taking hold of my hips, he pushes me back against the wood, and then he whispers, “Finally.”
“Finally?” I ask.
He tilts his head to the right, and his mouth pulls into a smirk that does things to my insides and holds my eyes hostage.
“I finally have you alone for a second,” he whispers and then his mouth presses against mine.
My eyes instantly drift shut because the kiss is more intense than the ones before.
Lake thrusts his tongue into my mouth, and then he brushes hard strokes over mine until it feels like my legs are going to give way beneath me and I have to grab hold of his shoulders to remain standing.
“Let’s go!” Mason yells.
I was so caught up in the kiss the sudden shout has me jerking with fright. Lake pulls away and rests his forehead against the door while I stare at his chest as I try to catch my breath.
“We are definitely staying in your suite after the wedding,” he grumbles, and it makes laughter bubble over my lips.
When we’re both breathing normally again, Lake links his fingers with mine, and we leave his room.
“We can’t take the Bently,” Falcon says.
Mason frowns. “Why?”
“How are we all going to fit?”
“Lee can sit on my lap,” Lake says as he pulls me back against his chest and wraps his arms around the front of me, resting his chin on top of my head.
“You guys look so cute right now,” Kingsley says, a wide grin on her face.
“We’re taking the Bently.” Falcon grabs the keys, then adds, “Mason can drive then Layla can sit on my lap.”
“There’s no fucking way I’m driving your asses all over town while you’re making out in the back seat.”
Lake holds his hand out to Falcon. “Daddy will drive while the kids make out.”
“Aww…” Kingsley blows him a kiss. “We have the best parents.”
When everyone is finally in the car, and Lake steers it through the gates of the Academy, Mason grumbles, “Hunt, your bony ass is stabbing into my leg.”
“You love my bony ass,” she sasses him back.
We listen to them bicker until Lake parks the car in front of a beautiful house. There are so many colorful flowers in the garden; it makes everything look cheerful.
I get out of the car and chuckle when Falcon and Layla almost fall out.
“Ooooo. Mmmmm. Ggggg.” My head snaps toward the screeching woman, and then my eyes widen as she comes storming across the road. She’s heading right for me, and I press myself back against the car.
