Garrett glanced at his watch, cursed under his breath, and then kissed her good-bye. “I’ll see you tonight. We’ll have a nice dinner.”
As soon as Seth hung up, Jessica realized she had yet another problem.
“Ready to go?” he asked.
“Yes. However, I need to go buy a few things. Like appropriate clothing for work and make-up and toiletries and”—she pushed out a deep sigh of frustration—“pretty much everything that was conveniently in my car earlier today.”
“Not to worry. There are places to shop here in Enclave. We’re small, but we get a lot of regular tourist traffic. You won’t have to go to work naked.” He grinned.
“That’s a relief, but somehow I don’t think you’d care.”
“Well, I wouldn’t mind so much personally, but I don’t want to let everyone see you naked. They’d surely want you for themselves.”
“Oh? Are you jealous, too?”
“Too? Do you think Garrett is jealous?”
She nodded. “He’s jealous of Duke.”
Seth laughed. “Interesting. Well, our unusual lifestyle has different aspects that allow for some voyeurism and exhibitionism obviously built in. However, some trios like more attention than others.”
“Meaning?”
“Garrett and I like to share and watch each other. We’ll even watch other trios on occasion, but we aren’t as liberal about letting anyone else watch us. Many of our friends are especially interested in both.”
Jessica’s heart pounded hard in her chest. “So…you like to watch other threesomes have sex?”
“Absolutely.” He gave her a wink. “Would you like that? Because we can arrange it. Or we can loosen our views a little and let others watch us, if you’d like.”
Chapter Eleven
Seth tamped down the surge of lust he felt at the mere idea she’d be willing to watch a sex show with them. Being watched wasn’t something they did very often, but it wasn’t out of the realm of possibility, especially if Jessica was involved. She hadn’t said she was interested in any of it yet, but her eyes were certainly wide and inquisitive.
“Let’s stick to dinner tonight for now. But I’ll think about it and let you know.”
“Fair enough.”
He drove her to several different stores so she could buy what she needed for the next few days. He wasn’t certain what her income or expenditure comfort was, but she didn’t seem troubled by the money she spent. Only the usual worry over her personal belongings and her vehicle being missing.
The total amount she spent all day would be what he considered pocket change. He did have a lot of money tucked away. A tidbit Seth wasn’t willing to share yet.
The memory of Gina’s expression when she’d found his bank account status out played over in his head a few times. She’d been surprised and promptly bent over backward to make him love her even more than he had. Unfortunately, Gina had only been pretending the whole time they’d been together. She’d been ugly and hurtful about her playacting when she’d left them for someone else.
Seth had to resist the urge to play sugar daddy and purchase everything for Jessica. Instead of a desirable perk, he sensed she’d find his excessive level of income something abhorrent, and another reason he kept it to himself.
Once she’d purchased everything she needed, he drove her to their home. Behind a gated fortress-like compound were all the houses for the owners of Old West Town.
Jessica’s eyes widened appreciably when they entered the gate. It was pretty big.
Then as they wound their way through the massive property, she saw a number of stately homes before coming to theirs.
He pulled into the circular drive way, parking before the front doors.
“This is your house?” she asked.
“Yes.”
She didn’t say anything at first, she just stared out the window.
“It’s pretty big,” she finally said under her breath.
“Well, we do share it. But it works for us.”
He opened his door, popping the trunk to retrieve her recent purchases. She also exited the car, but her focus remained on his front door.
Seth managed to grab all the bags and then closed the trunk with his elbow. “Are you okay?”
