I’m sorely tempted to read the messages now, but something tells me I won’t be able to finish reading them all. Besides, I don’t want to rush or I might miss something. It’s better for me to get Leo’s password so I can read all his messages later on when I’m not under a time limit.

Now, where is the password stored again?

Just when I’ve remembered, Leo’s phone rings. Panic freezes me in place as my mind races.

What do I do? Close the browser? But then I won’t be able to get the password. I won’t be able to access all those important emails.

Still, if I don’t, Leo will know I’ve been snooping. He’ll be mad for sure. And he’ll take his laptop back so I still won’t be able to find out what he’s hiding.

Either way, I lose. I can’t. I have to think of a way to keep him occupied until I have what I need.

My body springs into action. I stand above Leo as he stirs, blocking his view of the laptop. When he reaches for his phone, I take it from him.

He gives me a puzzled look. “Jodie?”

“He can wait.” I end the call and turn off the phone.

He tries to sit up. “What are you doing?”

I set the phone aside and climb on top of him. “You didn’t think I’d let you go without saying goodbye, did you?”

Before Leo can respond, I kiss him. Still, he pushes me back. I can see the struggle between desire and conscience in his eyes.

“Jodie…”

There’s a plea in there, one I would have heeded if I hadn’t remembered the laptop.

There’s no way I can back down.

“What?” I meet his gaze squarely. “You’re Mr. Goody Two Shoes now? Too good to fuck?”

He frowns. “That’s…”

“Too honest? Too naughty?” I run my fingertip over his upper lip. “Whose fault is that? I wonder.”

Leo doesn’t answer. I pull my shirt over my head.

“You were the one who told me I shouldn’t be afraid to take what I need. You offered yourself to me, remember? Told me to make use of you as a man. Or are you saying you want me to go back to thinking of you as simply a mischievous, scared little boy?”

Annoyance flickers in his eyes.

That’s right. Get riled up more. Come back at me. Get drawn into my spell.

I place my hand on his cheek. “Surely, the man I know is still in there somewhere.”

I brush my lips against his. They remain unresponsive.

Shit. Am I really that bad at this? I mean, I’ve never seduced a man before. Still, I didn’t think it would be this hard. Am I doing something wrong?

I flash him another taunting grin. “Don’t tell me…”

I don’t finish because he grabs the back of my head and pulls my face down. My lips crash right into his. His fingers become entangled with my hair as he kisses me. His tongue slips into my mouth and sends a shiver of delight down my spine.

I kiss him back but I can barely keep up. Strange. Am I not the one on top? Wasn’t I the one trying to seduce him? Why then does he seem to be in control?

And I can feel my body starting to surrender as heat travels beneath my skin. My mind starts to slip away.

No. I hold on to my thoughts. I can’t let him take control. This is my game and I have a goal. If I let him call the shots, I lose.

But how do I take control back?

I rack my brain for an idea even as I try to keep breathing with my mouth colliding with Leo’s over and over.

Control. Control. What can I do to take control?

Suddenly, I have an answer. I search his pockets. To my relief, I find his handkerchief, midnight blue with gold leaves, and pull it out.

Leo breaks the kiss. “What are you doing?”

“This.”

I shake the handkerchief so that it straightens out, then fold it diagonally in half so that it’s shaped like a triangle. Then I fold the top down an inch and another inch.

Leo’s eyebrows furrow. “Tell me that’s not what I think it is.”

Instead of telling him, I place the blindfold over his eyes.

He grabs my wrist. “No.”

“Come on,” I urge him. “Don’t you want to do things differently this time, considering it’s our last time?”

When he doesn’t answer, I whisper in his ear.

“Don’t worry. I’ve done this before. I promise I won’t be gentle.”

His jaw clenches.

I nip his lobe. “Or are you saying you can’t handle it like they did?”

That gets rid of Leo’s hesitation. He lets out a breath, then releases my wrist and lifts his head. I tie the handkerchief beneath him.

Good. Now, I can do what I want.

The thought and the power that comes with it sends ripples of excitement down my spine. Ideas pop up in my head. This could actually be fun.
